Riverview Hotel

Although the room was small, it was very clean and quaint. The staff was very friendly and the food in the restaurant was excellent. Will stay there again.

Bedroom floor was filthy. My white socks were black after wearing them in the bedroom. The bathroom door handle would come apart and leave you trapped in the room. Was reported and never fixed correctly. The upstairs balcony had broken furniture.

The hotel is an old hotel so the rooms are unique and a little smaller but we liked that about it! Very clean, with everything you may need. Breakfast was nicely served and you can sit overlooking the bay/dock area.

Best location for Cumberland island Hotel is OLD! Very few modern updates, clean and unique

Fun historic hotel. Clean charming rooms. Nice people. Great sack lunch if you go to Cumberland Island.

Its hot in the summer but the rooms have good air conditioning

I love this hotel. It is homey and clean. It is old and has a few quirks, but I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

It has stairs and I am at an age that it matters (70ish).

It smelled like the cat that we saw on the same counter they set breakfast on. The chair in our room was filthy dirty and we had to turn the shower on with a pliers they had attached to it! The whole experience was awful.

Location is excellent.

The hotel is in need of repair and upgrades to amenities. Website states there are hair dryers but you have to get it from the front desk. The tv was hard to watch due to the static. The room had a water leak in ceiling. And the noise from bkfs woke us up

90 year old hotel with original architecture, furnishings and character.

The hotel is in a general state of disrepair and is in need of extensive updating and maintenance.

As an old building with lots of rich history I found it to have a personality of its own. The location was tops. It was my first time visiting St Mary's and we were there just a night but I was happy I was in such a pretty area on the water.

It was not a problem but there were a few maintenance issues. I went to hang a towel and the rack came off the wall and although the linens were clean most likely, they appeared to be old and stained. All in all, I'd stay again.

No air in the lobby, not much air in the restaurant lots of fans. Room was hot when we arrive. Poor maintenance overall.

Older but in a good way and you walk to couple different places to eat and it's on the river. It quiet and clean. Friendly people

Nothing really, could update ac units but it still work good

The location is perfect - on the main street of historic St. Marys, by the museums and across the street from the ferry to Cumberland Island.

This was not a quiet getaway. The bar there seems to be the center of nightlife in St. Marys and the crowd was very loud and spilled over into the lobby of the hotel. Also, the veranda outside the rooms is accessible to everyone and also got very noisy.

Very quaint and very old. Great view.

Room small with no sitting chair. 2 flights up the stairs to room with a bad leg having Knee Replacement Surgery in two weeks. Didn't realize this was happening until after I booked the hotel.
