Hampton Inn Columbus-North

The staff is always so friendly, polite and supportive. Staff and the other ladies we encountered were amazing. We stayed at this hotel in October and chose to stay here again and I?m glad we did.

An inconvenience but the lobby was under renovation. A heads-up would have been nice.

Parking issue and renovation. Not to mention stayed three days and there was a different price for each day.

Location.

It was very dated. Dark, heavy perfume scent in air. Elevator was too warm. The room was dark, windows were permanently fogged. Bath was small, toilet lid loose, caulking around very old tub was amateurish. Not what I¿ve come to expect from Hampton Inn

The restaurants around the hotel.

The air conditioner was messed up and was so loud it was hard for us to sleep. The handicapped room I booked was not available when I arrived! It was very hard for me and my husband to get in and out of that tub. It was supposed to be a handicapped room!!

The convenient location for my purposes

I felt the price was a touch high for the outdated room design. The shower & bathroom were extremely small.

The room was clean and the breakfast was hot and amazing. One if the beat continental breakfast iv had.

The front desk helped me with a discount for a future stay!

The room (non-smoking) reeked of cigarette smoke. The wall paper was peeling. The coat closet didn't close properly.

The room was a little small.

Typical Hampton Inn, we have stayed in many and it has been our "go to" hotel when needed. This one is starting to show it's age, especially in the common areas. Dings and missing trim in the elevators, item like that.

Parking is very limited. If you have a rental car you will fit without problem, but if a full sized pick up as we had the spots are tight and the layout is awkward. Lot fills up and they overflow to McDonald's next door.

The Location

In the kitchen of my room they did not have any supply, they where not Kitchen Items.

I like the covid accomodations.

The bed wasn't a queen size which would have been better.

Everyone was so nice and I loved the location

Spabath tub didn't work.

The bed was comfortable. Showers were great.

Air conditioner made some noise while on, sometimes hard to sleep through

AC wasn’t working great. Felt like half the room was cool enough but far side (my side of bed) was hotter. Toilet backed up Fri evening and property could not let me borrow a plunger, said they were locked up and housekeeping was gone. Also there was a constant drip in the shower.
