It's location, it was close to the Everglades parks that I wanted to visit. There are several ponds on the property, my Chickee Cottage was close to one of the ponds, so the scenery around my Chickee was great.

Cons -

There was no lock on the door. The Chickee Cottage is more like camping than staying in an actual hotel room. The shutters on the windows made a lot of noise (banging) one night, due to high wind on that one night.
