Garden Inn Homestead - Everglades - Gateway to Keys

Since we arrived the smell of weed is impressive from the lobby to the room. Once in the room the smell was neutralized but it was humidity, everything in the room was terrible, the tub on the bathroom was full of mold.

Kind of rude staffing behind the put on kindness.. The hotel is a classic from the past, some good renovations, some wear and tear.

Oh my YES! Bugs.. BUGs. Ants and crickets and a salamander. Too many ants and crickets

Clean, quiet, great location, staff was courteous, excellent breakfast

The people at the front desk think I?m dumb they keep playing games but when my husband with me they don?t have the same energy

100 deposit and clearly stated on rules no weed but clearly everyday smelled like it outside and pool half time was not open

Breakfast was good. Location is right on the main road, so convenient to stay when just passing through. Convenient to 2 national parks.

The showers aren't good. It was hard to get them warm, and not much water coming out. Donny Trump would have a hissy fit if he stayed there.

Stayed here for over a year throughout a 3 year period.. You WANT to tip staff even if they had NOTHING to do with your room. Please don't forget to tip the beautiful lady who runs the breakfast ?

The location, had everything needed, comfortable maytress and many pillows, hair dryer, iron, good selection of coffee

The only thing was was fridge looked old and dirty on the outside on the side.

The bed is comfortable, the room is spacious, the staff is very kind and tentative to our requests, the water is hot and doesn't run out. I am very happy with my stay. I am between homes right now and its very comforting having a place that fits my needs.

I don't know about my first room since I couldn't get in it. But the second room was very clean.

A nightclerk one of the most terrible ones I've encountered over the last 20 years prepaid.And it still took 22 to 24 minutes to Check-in.Had to walk back to the office twice.To get different keys. She was enjoying Netflix a little too much.

The hotel is affordable I was there for 10 days. Nice and clean and the staff were pretty amazing I enjoyed my stay.

The pool temperature could have been a lot warmer. It's was super cold when I got in it but overall nice size pool the area was clean. I recommend a pool heater.

Breakfast was a bit sad. Mattress was lumpy.
