Hampton Inn Ft. Walton Beach

Location

Was not very clean, shower was dirty. No pool towels available. No extra pillows when I asked

Ocean view + proximity, real breakfast + longer hrs it's open. Breakfast didn't close at 9 or 9:30. We're at the beach!!

Local mgmt is doing their VERY best to run a nice hotel, but it's evident Hilton isn't doing much maintenance on this older hotel at this time. That's too bad for the people who work hard at the property, as if they're set up for failure.

On the beach, only two levels to navigate, great little pool with towels provided. Breakfast was amazing, some guests tend to hover in the actual food area which is already small and tight so that makes it a bit uncomfortable.

It is not fair to hold this against the hotel, They should really have a dedicated employee to assist customers with the waffle irons because OMG some people just don't get it. My children know, they were excellent, some adults looked like bumbling fools.

The location was excellent. I read a lot of complaints in the reviews about the $15 per day parking fee, but they had free breakfast. Which more than compensated. I¿ve stayed at 4 other places on this beach, and none of them offered free breakfast.

The location but I did not like the roaches and the green slime on the pier where I fell. My lawyer will be in contact. Dirtiest hotel I've stayed green slime growing on the pier I have pictures if you want them let me know.

I had roaches in my room, when trying to get my money back I was accused of being a nuisance at the hotel. I will be filing an injunction with my lawyer on this behalf this is the worst service I have ever got out of a staff and assistant GM Patricia..

Great service and staff. Really comfortable bed. Breakfast was great.

I like the balconies

The thing I didn't like was looking directly at other rooms if you're sitting on the balcony. The parking pass. I've never heard of it. Do you only get one pass per vehicle? I didn't ask to get an understanding

The location, breakfast, and large rooms

The trip was going well until we received unwanted visitors (roaches) They moved us to another room but didn¿t seem to show any compassion or make things right.

It's right on the beach. The breakfast is nice. Employees are pleasant & helpful. Good experience.

Front desk very friendly and accommodating. Very good location to beach. Rooms were nice with comfortable beds.

Resupply of continental breakfast was slow, but still was able to eventually get what I wanted.

Friendly staff. hotel employee went out of his way to make the check in process accommodating and he was most hospitable. Our initial room was by a barking dog. He quickly moved us to a more quiet space. Ron is a valuable asset to this location.

No ramp to get onto the walkway to the beach. It is not handicap accessible and persons going to the beach with wagons which are most beach goers, you have to carry the wagon up and down stairs. Would stay here again if they built a ramp to the walkway.

Front desk staff were very friendly! Room and hotel were clean. Great location!

Location is directly onto the beach and walking distance to a few well know food places in the area.

Property was located right on the ocean, walked right out on the beach every day. Lots of parking available & convenient location to everything (stores, restaurants, shopping and activities)

I wasn¿t expecting to be charged for parking in the open hotel parking lot.

Balcony, a good breakfast and a decent location

Under construction, noisy in the mornings,bed bugs, old mattresses. Needs remodel.

It's total appearance was clean and comfortable, relatively easily accessible, and it was close to the beach.

Location is great. Parking is easy. Our room had access from inside and outside.

I didn¿t like the pool set up, is small and facing the parking lot.

Air conditioning was inadequate. Breakfast was like vending machine, no coffee or juice.
