Hampton Inn Amelia Island at Fernandina Beach

Location perfect

There was a big huge roach on the wall and also a huge roach in the bathroom

The manager set up a wonderful hot chocolate bar that was very appreciated. Usually there is only coffee to drink. I appreciated her out of the box thinking.

Room felt wet!! Staff offered a de- humidifiet. It greatly reduced the moisture in the top ( which clearly was there) and the humidifier filled up quickly

My husband and I were here for our anniversary. The staff was very friendly and greeted us with welcoming smile. The breakfast was delicious with a good selection of items. We will definitely stay here again.

The spacious suite was fantastic. A.close second would be it¿s location so close to the beach.

The carpet didn¿t feel clean and there were a couple small mold/mildew areas in the shower.

The staff was truly amazing! So friendly and helpful! The room was perfect! Much more than I expected¿I really can¿t think of anything I would change about it. Great location close to the beach. Location is perfect for day trips to Savannah/ St Augustine.

This hotel is within walking distance from the beach with free parking. The staff was very friendly, the free hot breakfast was just okay. The room was fairly clean. It¿s an older hotel in a small beach town but great for a short beach trip.

Location to the beach just a short walk. But discovered the beach has free parking...

No Extra toilet paper in the room. Hardly enough to make me never go back.

Friendly staff. 400 yds from the beach. free loaner beach chairs and towels. Breakfast was excellent especially for Covid-19 times. The kitchen staff prepared hot meals and handed them to patrons waiting in a short line. Coffee always fresh and tasty.

The rooms refrigerator cabinet smelled moldy and damp. I forgot to mention that to the hotel manager upon check-out. The refrigerator was fine, it was the under counter cabinet that smelled when you opened the wooden door to access the unit.

Nothing, we did not stay

Room was dirty. Mold in shower and room was not clean. You could write message in dust on dresser. They did not have another room and no one to clean it. They said they would give us a refund but have not seen it yet. I want a complete refund now.

Great location within walking distance to the beach, restaurants & bars. Staff was informative & pleasant. Very clean and nice. Lovely island. Not as busy and built up like some areas.
