Wyndham Garden Ft Lauderdale Airport and Cruise Port

Rusted doors and alarm went off several times while there only was there 4 days

This hotel is NOT a 3 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. Perhaps it was 20 years ago. The carpets in the halls are way past well worn. They need replaced- not sure even a cleaning will make them salvageable. Posting full review on hotel site.

The early check-in. We got stranded in Florida because of the Amazon plane crashed. We had to go to Fort Lauderdale and get a hotel there. We had to stay in the Wyndham lobby all morning because we had nowhere else to stay. They got us a room at 11:am.

The first night the bed was to hard and I didn’t sleep good.

Summer rates. Shower had excellent pressure with hot water

It’s in Dania beach, not a lot going on

Nohting, parking is painful. The pool gets closed in the evenning.

They charge money for the Breakfast.

This hotel was filthy. We walked in and walked straight out and went to a Hilton.

It was really dirty and over booked.

Location to the Airport

Old, needs updating. Stale, uninviting atmosphere. Bathroom door wouldn't close. Toilet did not flush at times. Not worth the price paid.

Room was clean and up to date. The tile floors are nice.

The swimming pool was old and outdated. The pool furniture was about to fall apart. Water wasn't very clean. It’s awkwardly next to the parking garage.

My room location was excellent at the end of the hallway

Check out staff told me that no one left a package for me at the front desk. In the begining he refused to look for my package and kept insisting he found the package

Close to the airport

The man on duty spoke on the phone without acknowledging me. A young Latino man appeared and agreed to check me in. The air conditioner handler in the room was very noisy. Noise from cars and motorcycles on the street were a serious nuisance

Free parking

Homeless people hang out outside and inside the hotel, especially on the 6th floor by the laundry/ice machines. Wellness checks by the police for guests on our floor. Front desk clerk only nice to some people (maybe his friends or they gave him money?)

Some of the front desk people are rude, especially the guy who works the day shift who said he's worked there for 3 years (did not get his name). The police showed up twice during our stay because of rowdy guests next door.

Close to airport

Lobby area is chaotic, unwelcoming, confusing, dirty feeling. It needs to be cleaned up

The front desk clerk had an incredibly long line at 11pm when we arrived. Although it took almost an hour for checkin she handled the crowd with a very friendly attitude. The room was quiet and we were at least able to sleep for 4-5 hours before flight

The hotel shuttle was a disaster. I called 4 times. The shuttle was full or just not to be found. We stood outside in the rain at the hotel shuttle stop for 2 hours before it finally showed up. We ended up taking an Uber back to airport.

Comfortable bedding

Early check-in fee of $50. Usually complimentary at other hotels

Friendly staff and clean rooms

Floors needed mopped. Turned our feet black (only 1 of our 2 rooms). Carpet needs updated.

The room was nice

The staff was crappy. The shuttle never showed up and it was the middle of the night. I waited hours in the cold with my daughter. Ended up having to get an Uber.

Clean and friendly

Staffel horrible this place is horrible. Would come here again.

The staff was rude consistently. The manager is terrible.
