We're less than a mile from the Amtrak station, with free shuttle service. Relax on the riverfront and enjoy city views from our highest floors. Event spaces include two fully operable law centers with special security features. Every room at the Doubletree Hotel Downtown Wilmington features a coffee maker and cable TV with pay-per-view movies. Free local telephone calls are also available in each room. A restaurant and a lounge are provided in the Downtown Wilmington Doubletree Hotel. The hotel includes a gym and a gift shop. - Location, Room decor, Ambience.
- The wifi worked just fine.
- N/A only used the hotel for the Room.
Cons -
- Multiple Elevators out of service
- Paying for breakfast
- Sketchy neighborhood. Very little to eat nearby. The tub spout had a slow constant leak. The room had low light. Other fixtures elsewhere were worn. There was a $50 US hold on my card for incidentals. Overall, not an enjoyable night.
