The staff who I interacted with were awesome. Its a Motel 6 off the highway in a small town so I already had estimation it would be more of the remote feel and that was fine for me. The staff attended to all calls and friendly. Was quiet and safe
Nothing. So took a shower and left!
That it was just off the highway.

Top Tips
- Book hotel reservations 2-3 months ahead for October in Dayville, as nightly rates can increase 20-30% ($15 to $25) during peak foliage season. Early booking secures better room choice and may improve options for accessible rooms or family suites, which are limited during high-demand periods.
- Check event dates for the Brooklyn Fair (late August) and Woodstock Fair (early September) as these can raise hotel prices 10-20% ($15 to $18 per night) in Dayville. Confirm with your hotel if parking or shuttle arrangements are available during these events, as roads and lots may fill quickly.
- Traveling in April or November may save you 15-25% on hotel stays (around $15 to $15 per night) due to lower demand. Some area hotels offer seasonal promotions or late check-out options during these months. Ask at booking for extras like complimentary breakfast or early check-in.
- Hotel check-in in Dayville can start as late as 4 PM and check-out may be required by 10-11 AM. To avoid disruption to travel plans, confirm your hotel’s exact timing in advance and request early check-in or late checkout if needed, especially if you require more time for accessibility needs.
- Explore local attractions like Roseland Cottage Museum (15-20 min from Dayville) or Connecticut Audubon Center at Pomfret (20-25 min away) for historical tours and nature experiences. Many hotels offer maps or can arrange a taxi for accessible transport upon request.
