Rocky Mountain Inn

The room was clean and comfortable. Liked the binder with all of the information for local eateries and things to do and tv channels.

Could not locate staff to check in. Very poor to no cell service in the area, so calling to find staff was difficult.

Convenient location for where I wanted to be.

There was no a/c. Hence, the windows were open to let in fresh air, with only a screen. This let in a whole bunch of bugs so the room was infested with bedbugs. They crawled on me in bed, were drawn to light and got into the coffeemaker.

Clean, comfortable, friendly.

Comfortable and spacious room within walking distance to Main Street shops and restaurants.

The second person who took a shower only had lukewarm water.

Comfortable motel-style room had a full kitchen, comfy bed, and a table to sit at (always a bonus). The staff were friendly and attentive. Located a couple of blocks from the main street and several good restaurants; the back rooms were wrapped around a small garden.

The air-conditioning unit was a bit loud.

Location was fabulous, staff was quite friendly, there was outdoor seating, the room was quite comfortable.

Perfect location for wine tasting in the Paonia/ Hotchkiss area. The grounds are lovely and the rooms had a kitchen. This seems to be a converted motel but the rooms are cute and very comfortable with very nice bedding, towels, and amenities.We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and clean. There was a great little shady grass area for grilling and relaxing. The hosts were very kind and helpful. Location is close to downtown.

There wasn't a way to control the temperature in our room so we actually got a bit chilly at night.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at the Rocky Mountain Inn. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the hosts are friendly and helpful. Plus the location is perfect for walking to restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay here again!

Bathroom door too close to the toilet.

We had the unit over the office, the former owner's 1 bedroom and loft. It was fantastic. Very clean, plenty of space for 5 of us, and the location was excellent. The grounds are beautiful also.

Very clean and comfortable. Our room was very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The king size mattress was comfortable with a nice duvet cover and comfy pillows. The back yard area was very cute with outdoor furniture in all the shady spots, a picnic table for larger groups and an outdoor grill. Very nice. The only staff member we met was John. He was very accommodating and helped us check in early. You could tell he took great interest in making sure we had a good experience.

Nothing really. It’s an older motel-style property on the edge of a country town that’s been carefully remodeled over the years. Nothing particularly fancy, but it has all the bases covered for a very nice stay.

Great location as we could walk to everything in town. The staff was wonderful and treated us like friends from the very beginning.

Beautiful, well equipped room with a very comfortable bed. Host was really friendly and helpful. Excellent restaurant close to motel. Paonia is a great place to visit.

Beautiful property—well maintained gardens and beautiful flowers. Kind and friendly staff. Easy parking. Great location.

No blackout curtains/shade in one room causing the room to be filled with light from an outdoor light throughout the night. Really loud mechanicals above one room (sounded like a big truck was idling just outside the room). Room temperature could not be moderated—really cold!

Clean, comfortable rooms, close to restaurants and center of town. Owner was very friendly and helpful.
