    Pros +

    • A great old historical hotel.
    • Historic hotel. They did early checkin. The lady was real nice. Concierge was also incredible.
    • The hotel is very well kept and the staff at the front desk were very helpful.

    Cons -

    • Room had a mirror or something on the wall and it was removed and the mounting hardware was still on the wall and you could see how the paint was faded around the mirror. Did not present a 5 star image.
    • This isn’t the Brown Palace of the past. There was a toothpick left on the floor in the bedroom. The wall paper was peeling off. Bathroom door wouldn’t shut. Eliminated the fancy soap. The quality & service is 2 star at best. Needs refurbished. Very sad.
    • No hairdryer in room. Only one elevator working and it stopped at every floor. They reprogrammed all of the room keys without notifying us or the front desk.

Most of the outlets didnt work, my phone didnt work, there was no way to get ahold of front desk or get room service because of the phone situation. Also wasnt told where my room was so i walked in a circle with heavy bags. Breakfast was not included.

The hotel was reminiscent of a beautiful era

The staff was rude. They charged my debit card numerous times and I still have not been refunded everything that I was supposed to my room charges added up to $---. They charge me $---. I?ve gotten 400 back.

    The friendliness of the staff.

It needs cleaned, painted and furniture replaced. Looks old and worn out.

The history of this hotel is quite intriguing. The service was excellent and the employees were very attentive, friendly and welcoming. Room size was adequate for two people and the atmosphere was very nice.

For the price I paid for this room, I would expect that there would be no holes in the sheets. The bathroom was nice, except that there were no doors on the vanity and the plumbing was exposed, which made it feel cheap and not well thought out.

    Great location

The room was not stocked with supplies The Bathroom door was broken and did not close for privacy The maid in the morning walked in at 900am with just a knock and embarrassed my wife. Certainly not a Signature experience!!!

Too pricy rm 332 was a good size but heater and thermostat was not working. Wires on heater was Jerry rigged.. bathroom was very small. But it was recently remodeled. Also rm 722 was real small as was bathroom and queen bed in King room was a joke.

    Everything. See above.

They were holding a deb ball ..multiple bands until after 2am. Next day tv failed the could not repair. Then door lock failed. Next day no breakfast in restaurant- bkfst wb Santa for kids. We got a motel 6 free buffet but paid $20 each.

    None of this was published.

    Very historic and interesting building

Room was very small, but it was good for just 1 person

The décor is very nice, the staff is very friendly, and service is prompt.

The water pressure in the shower could be higher.

    Bathroom

Everything from checkin - wrong room, rude staff, 50 parking, no 24hr room service (although it was advertised 34hr availability), over sold kings so we had to take a queen. It was very hard and uncomfortable. One robe - not 2. It felt cheap.

They let us check in early

Ac didn¿t work, elevators didn¿t work, many basic things in the room didn¿t work, shades wouldn¿t open, bathroom doors wouldn¿t close, light was broken, overhead ceiling didn¿t function

Beautiful historic hotel in a great location to restaurants and shopping.

    10LauriePosted on: 5-31-2021

    Beautiful and elegant.

They wanted to charge $2 for a water glass for the room. No coffee in the room. No plug in in the bathroom.

    3ChristopherPosted on: 5-28-2021

Overall history and architecture. The bathrooms and showers were decent with classic black and white color pattern, marble tile, double sinks, and double shower heads.

There was a 1¿ gap under the door. The air duct system was very loud. The mattress was very firm if not outright hard. The sink faucet leaked puddling onto the vanity. Light bulbs out. No switch control of lighting. Debris under bath vanity. Plus more

I was really looking forward to the experience of staying at the historic Brown Palace Hotel and was not disappointed in the least. The place was beautiful, staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly and the food was fantastic! Great stay...
