    Pros +

    • Cleanliness, uniqueness,
    • The decor was very nice. Bartenders made great cocktails
    • Location, lounge, and restaurant where tremendous.

    Cons -

    • I wish the curtains were more blackout style. The light was bright early morning.
    • First floor rooms are kind of dark.
    • A certain smugness from the younger desk staff. Not what I would expect from Hilton trained hospitality staff.

Location was great, Room was clean, and being in a converted school was a cool experience. Little touches here and there that reminded you that it was once a school was pretty neat.

Parking is $60 I believe on the property, though there are other options pretty close

The hotel is an old school remodeled. The staff was very knowledgeable about its history and they were so kind! The hotel was extremely clean and well organized. The food at the restaurant was delicious. We will definitely stay there again!

    The history

The loud slamming doors late at night and early in the morning. Our room was 287, close to the elevators. Could not hear elevators.

    10FerrellPosted on: 3-31-2024

The schoolhouse theme of the hotel is wonderful- especially being a former Denver Public School! The transformation of the public spaces into welcoming, spacious areas is nice touch. And this is the most interactive staff in Denver I¿ve come across!

This is not anything the staff can necessarily manage- but the location is wonky. There are directional notes but too wordy.

Unique and beautiful design reusing and embracing the history of this building! Love the details with the school bells and clocks!

    Parking is SO expensive.

I enjoyed staying there. The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small but clean and big enough for me. I was particularly impressed with the plumbing. It was modern and nicely done.

The lobby was on the second floor. This confused me initially. But it did not bother me, and I got used to it.

New installation. Very clean and well kept

Got stuck in the elevator where the doors would not open and the buttons did nothing to assist.

    4Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 11-22-2023

I like that it had a little grocery and gift shop area.

The price to valet park is ridiculous. The bed sheets were stained.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 10-2-2023

The overall theme and customer service of the hotel was great. The room was clean and well maintained. Location was good and the overall experience was great.

    10KarenPosted on: 9-22-2023

A converted school building gone high tech and super cushy. It¿s a beautiful hotel.

It¿s a bit out of the mainstream of downtown, but easily solved with Uber service.

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-9-2023

Loved the decor- it is fun ! Like the way they kept the authenticity of an old school and loved the way they were so creative in saving many of the old school details. Fabulous bathrooms- great shower, great pressure. Good lighting . Good beds.

Our first room was on the lower level- felt like we were staying in someone's basement- ick, dark. Asked to be moved& we were able to move but to a much, much smaller room. I had paid for a corner room when I made the reservation. NO room safes-

    10LeannPosted on: 8-15-2023

Very unique, loved the fact that it used to be an old school. Very wide Halls! The rooms were small but not uncomfortable. It was very quiet.

I was disappointed that there wasn't a small refrigerator. For a hotel of this caliber, it should.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-6-2023

Very friendly, welcoming staff at both front desk and bar who acted like people not robots. Thoughtful & generally handsome design in all spaces. Common spaces especially nice. Bar serving good food until 10:45 PM, HUGE plus for travelers from afar

Couldn't open windows in rooms - no fresh air, and had to keep the A/C on at night when it wasn't really needed Room was pretty small with limited light.

This place is wonderful. Very unique and quiet location. I think it¿s our new favorite place to stay in Denver downtown.

The gentleman who was at the front desk the 2nnd day was extremely rude as was the long haired valley was extremely rude

The location is so bad get hard to find and the sign is tiny very very hard to find.

    10DarlenePosted on: 7-5-2023

Well appointed rooms! Top quality shampoo and soap. The restaurant was delicious and the staff were friendly and did well. Overall A+

    10KatrinaPosted on: 6-2-2023

Prime Downtown location. I loved that the building was repurposed from its original use as a school into a hotel. Reduce. Reuse. Recycle ¿¿

The rooms are pretty tight/small. Okay for a couple or single person.
