Aloft by Marriott Denver Downtown

The bartenders and a couple of the guest service people and the guy out front was very helpful and friendly.

That there was no spa, pool, continental breakfast or much amenities.

For a 3 star hotel, it is not that bad. Room was clean. Location was very near heart of the downtown.

We stayed on the second floor. We were provided with two sets of ear plugs but did not know it would get that noisy at night. It was so noisy that we could not sleep at all. I would not stay at this hotel ever.

The location

I had to switch rooms three times due to issues, housekeeping came in in the morning when I was asleep. The walls are also VERY thin.

I liked the feel of the hotel, the cleanliness, and the location.

We arrived at the hotel at 10am (early), but we went to the desk anyway. Only one of our rooms was ready as the were still cleaning our other two rooms. Not a problem at all! It's just I did not receive a text that our room was ready until 3pm.

It was right downtown in Cherry Creek and very fancy

Nope I loved everything from the lighting, to the coffee, to the staff

Great location, nice, modern style.

Room was loud, not just street traffic, but AC. Didn't sleep as well as we had hoped.

The staff were friendly and very accommodating! It's very easy to like the modern design, and I particularly liked the vouchers for declining housekeeping by day.

It's pet friendly, which is great for most people, but for someone who is allergic to animal dander, it would help if they cleaned the carpets more between stays or had a pet-free room available.

The location was wonderful. The bed was also very comfortable!

The valet told us the hotel parking was $40...but right next to the hotel was a $13 public lot. The valet told us we would have to renew our ticket at midnight if we parked at the public lot (and did not do valet), and this was not true...

The staff was kind

Even though my room was on the 4th floor, our view was facing inward and it felt very enclosed. Room was very dark.

The hotel was conveniently located! It was very modern and had a nice feel.

The pool was very tiny, but there was a pool. The sheets on the bed were very wrinkled, the sheets when I walked in to the room looked used.. Otherwise the room was great.

The staff was very polite, and location was great.

The staff wasn't very informative, didn't inform us about the parking, or the fee they charged when they asked to see my card. The room was great except for the bathroom door was unable to be closed and had about a 4 inch gap.

Proximity to Denver Convention Center

Street noise outside rm 313 was significantly loud but not terrible

Location for walking distance to downtown restaurants and after-bars is perfect.

Shower (though new construction) leaked terribly, style is cool but not well functionally. Room is contemporary, open concept style, which was neat and different. Not a 4 star; but fun for the minimalist, cute and artsy, with an awesome location.

no free breakfast or restaurant. ridiculously high price to park a car overnight ($38). Had to find a local lot and walk to and from each day to pay for a lower priced lot. No free coffee in foyer/reception area

Friendly staff. Always greeted you as you walk in the door.

If I had to nit-pick, my view was not the best.

The room was definitely not as clean as expected(linens, pillows). If you drive a full size truck they neglect to tell you that they don't have parking for you and you are on your own.

Decor, convenient location, friendly and helpful staff. Clean. Free Wi-Fi a plus.

The handicapped-accessible room has some features that are not welcome when used by non-disabled guests. I should have asked to be moved.

The location was pretty convenient to walk to any location in downtown denver.

This hotel is more like a 2 star hotel. Price comparison to a 4 star hotel I stayed in my last visit there. I was pretty disappointed in not reserving the last hotel. My thought was trying something new this time. Something more contemporary but It didn

The location couldn't have been better! It's very uniquely designed. Loved the fitness center- definitely small, but the machines are great. Staff was very nice, especially the bartender who was great with my little cousins and let me yap his ear off.

It's definitely a smaller hotel, but I thought that added to the charm. The rooms are almost loft-style. So if you're looking for extra privacy (think bathroom is kind of open to the room) then this may not work. But I didn't mind that!
