Sheets were very nice Checkin was easy Views were great Room was super spacious

I was too cold in the evening and too hot in the AM and I couldn’t regulate the temperature myself - it was all centrally controlled. I wanted late checkout and they couldn’t accommodate due to another arrival.

Friendly and helpful staff, and great location for a great price.

Not very good soundproofing between bedroom and hallway and very noisy hallways with loud doors, people, and pets.

The staff was nice

The room was not as pictured at all, we expected a separate room area and it was all 1 big room which made it difficult with a dog and baby. The room was incredibly grungy and everything felt dirty. Not allergy friendly

The check in staff were very busy but still kind and hospitable. The hot tub and pool were so nice!!

The pizza place downstairs was a tough experience for us, took us over 45 minutes to get a broken pizza (yes, broken, as the staff explained to us!) and then another 15 to get a refund on salads they did not have? It was weird, should’ve gone into town

Location.

No maintenance is done at this property. Staff is unhelpful and dismissive. Thin walls. Barking dogs. Best to look elsewhere

The heated pool and hottub

We reserved a room with 3 beds and got one with 1 bed and a pull down sleeper

It was horrible. Only room for the bed. No microwave No plug for the coffeemaker. There were dishes and soap and why??? We couldn?t warm anything. The added fee was the best.

Conveniently located. Really appreciated being able to charge my none tesla car overnight. Friendly staff.

location very convenient to free shuttle buses, hiking, main roads, manager very accommodating about reversing 2 nights of resort charges due to problems with original room.

the room had problems with excessive noise from some mechanical system in the building, had to change rooms and was given push-back for 2 days that there were no other rooms available. when I persisted after 2 nights of noise, they gave me a new room.

Location.

Had some issues that were annoying such as no towels or washcloths. The staff brought us pool towels and kitchen dish towels as a substitute. It is kind of disgusting to think you wash dishes with the same cloth used in the shower. No good dining.

Staff where ok! At least the sheets where clean! Suppose if you are going for the ski or mountain biking would be ok. Would not recommend if you are travelling and want to stay because of the name. Stay in Gunnison (local town) and save your $$$

Very dated old dark dingy could do with an update. Murphy bed - take care when walking around No open restaurants in hotel in the evening. No AC on a hot day, was told to open windows. Which is very noisy over night and not really make any difference!

Ii liked the big room with a kitchenette and the amenities in and around the hotel

There was construction going on so one of the shop/ restaurants was closed and it didn¿t seem like anyone was working on it to get it finished. Loud people in the halls/side doors. I was charged extra at front desk after I had already prepaid online

For being a Grand hotel there was not much to like. The one actual bed in the room was very soft. The water was hot.

Only 255 letters I can write. Extra fees at check in. No A/c. One bed was a Murphy, hard mattress no extra bedding. Staff clueless. Hairs in shower. Community shampoo. No snack Vending machines.

The check-in process was quick and easy. The man at the desk gave great information about the area with a map. Our room was clean, and spacious, and had everything we needed. They were so accommodating with our dog.

Kitchen area

Room was hot with no air conditioning and no way to get adequate cross ventilation. Window that was able to be opened was adjacent to air conditioning unit for the main areas of the hotel. Also what appeared to be dog urine spots on hall way carpet.

The room was excellent with every amenity imaginable! No extra charge for granola bars, extra coffee, water bottles. Had a nice fridge, sink microwave and one stove top burner. Nick & Jack at the fr9nt desk were incredibly helpful!!!

Room housekeeping only on request, although requested twice, did not receive ANY room service in 5 day stay. Staff was nice but seemed over stressed. Mini kitchen not stock well with dishes, pans, etc.

The upholstered chairs in the hotel room were filthy.The hallway carpet near the pool smelled like mildew.The pool was filled with bugs. The exercise room had a broken water dispenser with exposed wires. The hallway carpet near the pool smelled of mildew.
