Comfort Inn Yreka I-5

There was drug use outside our windows. A guy shooting up and stashed his paraphernalia right there in the flower pots. I told the front desk. She said ok. No concern.

Location

Room was dark dingy, very worn carpet. Very noisy people above me and you heard all the waking and talking until 1:30 am. Like they were having a party.

The price and location

Cleanliness we were told by front desk that she wanted to put us in a room with new carpet by when we rented the carpet was dirty and the bathroom had not been cleaned we were so tired from our long drive. Also loud talking in the hallway by staff

Clean room. Lots of parking. Right off freeway. Breakfast was decent.

The new carpet was off gassing terribly. Made it hard to breathe. An alarm went off in the room above us at 3am and went for hours. Couldn¿t figure out the source. Called front desk to check room above us. Lost several hours of sleep.

They mess up my reservation for 2 room. I only reserved for 1. If not for me checking my payment at check in, I would have been over charged. Front desk person almost was not able to check us in. She should have reviewed and confirm my reservation.

Dislike not being able to enter at tge front after 11 p.m. We have to use side door.

The bed was nice. Bathroom was adequate. The breakfast was mediocre. The staff was somewhat helpful.

The desk clerk was not at the desk when we were checking out. The TV was small, had no volume control and no movie channels. No bathroom in the lobby or anywhere except the room. The coffee was instant and not acceptable. Not a 2.5 star.

Nothing, it was dirty, bed was horrible, high powered work lights trained on our rooms window and the curtains did shut all the way.

Everything, the room was dirty, the tv didn¿t work, high intensity lights shining on our window and curtains that didn¿t close all the way.

Room was clean.

No elevator & my husband got locked out on Wednesday morning at 6 am & couldn¿t get back in. Then I went to look for him & my card wouldn¿t work. No one was in the office at 6:30.

We've been told "the hot buffet breakfast" is included when we booked the hotel. It turns out "a frozen burrito" is served. We feel that we've been cheated by whoever the party is responsible for this BIG lie.

Clean. Safe. Comfortable bed. Decent breakfast for Covid days. A Taco Bell and a McDonalds you can walk to in under 2 minutes. Good moderately priced family restaurant across the street-5 minute walk. Small but decent pool. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Small property. Cramped checkin and breakfast area. Cluttered. No elevator. 2 sets of semi worn stairs at opposite ends of building. If you are finicky and want a fancier place this is not your answer. It did meet our needs and we would stay here again.

Good location for our stop for the night. Reasonably good price. Room was fine.

The entrance and reception area is tacky and had supplies laying around. Initial poor impression, but the room was ok. Hard to find the entrance to the hotel hidden beside a taco bell

the lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. she didn't tell me that there was still food available for breakfast if i asked for specific items despite the breakfast they advertise not being allowed due to covid19.

they really rush you out of there. maid knocked and woke me up WAY BEFORE checkout and i wasnt able to fall back asleep and i really needed it i had a long way to drive.

The hotel is old and needs to be updated and it does not have a elevator

Noisy heater; dirty hallway carpet; small brkfst area; old furniture/bed mattress

Got there at 3:00 PM. Room wasn't ready, had to wait 20-30 min. For my room, my reservation was for 3 people and they try to charge me extra for the 3rd person.

The proprietor was extremely friendly and helpful, room was very comfortable and clean.

This is a 3 story hotel and there is no elevator. Had a room on first floor so thankfully didn't have to haul luggage upstairs.

Leaving

The room smelled like fish and cigarettes, and the WiFi almost never worked.
