Best Western Miner's Inn

Very clean, comfortable room, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, and the place is welcoming to travelers with pets.

Location

Very dated. Floor was dirty and sticky. Had no shower curtain when we arrived. We were able to get one eventually.

Clean rooms. Nice pet area.

Don't count on anything hot for Breakfast if you sleep past 9.

Large rooms, comfy bed, plenty of amenities, muffins in the front lobby were nice, easy access to take care of pet needs, pleasant staff.

Dog poo bags were empty; thank goodness we had our own. Pools and hot tub closed when weather was very hot.

Lots wrong with this hotel because the transition of ownership made it hard for staff to do their jobs effectively! It¿s struggling to keep up with Best Westerns standards. The manager and hotel employee were all helpful during our extended stay!

The room size

They are going through owner transition and are experiencing some previous owner irresponsibility. Current owner is doing what he can to make sure hotel is being supplied with what we as guest are needing/paying for!

Location and some staff are accommodating

Having bad allergy reaction but our schedule is hard to get the floors steam cleaned and get the rooms cleaned at times! Asked hotel employee for body wash to be replaced in shower. Im guessing because the hotel is in transition the supplies are hard to come by?

Room was lovely. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I felt safe. Breakfast was good.

Mattress is older and sags on each side. Needs to be replaced.

Nice large clean room, comfy bed

Was not the room I booked.. seems like they gave me an old pet room that smelled and was not by the creek and one ice machine that was way on the other side of the property.. room was really no better than a super8

When I arrived, I was put in a room with only one bed but reserved a two-bed room. The front desk promptly moved my room with the requested amount of beds.

was a bit concerned about security with the sliding glass patio door. The lock didn't seem super secure and the back patio was open to other rooms. However, the area was quiet and seemed safe.

Stayed upstairs in the center of the building facing the parking lot. Surprisingly quiet with a very comfy bed. Newer mattress with just the right amount of cushion and no sagging.

At evening check in lobby smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. At AM check out the cigarette odor was still very present with the addition of an air freshener fragrance. So strong you could taste it!

The lodge looks and feels like you're in the country. The staff was so friendly and the restaurant breakfast was unbelievable. Absolutely the best Huevos Ranchero I've ever had.

Had to post a $50 refundable deposit on my credit card for any damages. 4 days later it still shows as a hold on my credit card. That should have been released right away.

The breakfast supplies were not refilled to meet demand: first morning OK. Other days, no cream cheese, no bagels, no forks, no yogurt. Always something lacking. Garbage cans overflowing. No fresh fruit any day. No housekeeping came into my room

Hotel does not have casino at the property as described. Swimming pool is not clean.

This hotel is right 0ff I-5, easy to get to and near old town Yreka. Our room was clean and spacious, which is much welcomed as we were traveling with children. The breakfast was good with plenty of options to choose from.

The hotel is a little dated for the price point. Tv was way too small for the size of our room.

The price was very reasonable for a Saturday night.

Their WiFi was down and had been down for several days, with no expected date to be functioning again. The shower head was un-adjustable and only had a straight dead on slow. Very uncomfortable.

Have stayed there before. Very nice room. And dispite Covid, excellent breakfast selection.
