Motel 6-South El Monte, CA - Los Angeles

We did not have a good experience. Even though we had confirmed our room over the phone in advance, our reservation was canceled. After a lot of discussion and follow-up, they gave us a room that did not match our original request at all. The facilities were weak, and the management was unprofessional. Overall, it was a disappointing stay.

A good night's sleep

Needs more green nature (trees) to absorb the pollution from the freeway next to Motel 6.

It was really dirty

I didn't like it because roach and it was really dirty

TV worked.

The property was dirty, the mirror was dirty, the bedding had cigarette burns, it was wasn’t clean at all. & it also smelled like cigarettes. Honestly this was the first time we expierenced a Motel 6 to be super dirty & smelling of cigarettes. We requested a non cigarette room, but the smell was so strong. They definitely need to update these hotels and make sure they are cleaned for guess to walk in. The mirror was all dusty and with water marks, floor all dirty not even sweeped right. We didn’t sleep all that great. But at least it took us out of the rain for the night.
