Arky's was a gorgeous private home owned by two lovely folks. Our room was big and comfy, in a quiet setting on the beach. The house was ours to roam, but we opted for a walk. In the morning we were served a traditional Chinese bfast that was to die for.
We were the only guests in the house, so it was very quiet, not a problem for us, but it could be unnerving for some. It was great for the morning at breakfast though, no wait time!
The hosts were gracious. The breakfast was wonderful. Access to the river (not the ocean) by foot was relatively easy. It was quiet and peaceful.

WE got in late at night due to unforeseen circumstances and the hosts were so gracious and welcoming still. We felt really bad but we were treated like royalty. The breakfast was also amazing and we did laundry, played pool, and saw sealions on our walk.
I liked everything. We stayed in over 10 hotels on this trip and this was the best experience.
The view and ambience. Loved the wildlife.
