No view from the window. Very loud from the street. Pillow are huge and not convertible. No gym that week.

Proximity to shopping n Levi’s n Great America Park

On a busy corner street, so lots of car noise during the night.

The cleanliness, location, and breakfast

The front desk staff were not very friendly and the coffee was always cold if the even had it on hand.

Great outdoor pool. Eggs and meat at breakfast every day. We stayed more than a week and had no issues. Staff was friendly.

Beds hard and not a fan of the pillows

Waited over 90 minutes for room which was not available as promised for 3pm check in

09/03, @ rm 206. I was wakening up midnight by the outside Traffic noisy, couldn?t go back to sleep at all. Called hotel and the rep confirmed she heard the traffic noisy. 09/04, Rm 210. The heavy walking step noise fm 3rd Fl caused anoth bad experience.

The room layout was impressive

No hot tub or heated pool Water pressure in shower was weak

The room was very nice, and the breakfasts offered a great variety of good food.

There was constantly puddles of water outside the elevator. This is because the elevator was "outdoors" in a way. It was raining during the weekend and the water gathered right there. Seems like a poor design feature to put the elevator outdoors.

The beds were really bad. 2 nights of sleeping in the mattress caused me back pain

Their continental breakfast was impressive. It had a great variety of different options.

The hallways seemed a little dark and dirty and the lay out of the hotel was confusing. I seemed to never go the right way to the elevators.

Prefer ice machine on each floor but not a major problem.

I reserved this hotel for the specific reason that it had an airport shuttle. When I called to ask where the shuttle was to pick me up, I was told they do not have a shuttle. They offered no help, refund, anything.

The location and good size rooms. The cinnamon rolls are a great warm treat.

The window air is noisy, the shower valve is backwards with red cold and blue hot, the coffee maker cord does not reach the outlet, the fridge rocks and has no door storage. The price is high for the amenities.

Nice clean rooms. Modern with plenty of charging ports.

Booked because it had a pool. Called 2 weeks prior to stay to verify pool was open. Was told it was open. Checked in and was told pool was closed until April or May. Checked out immediately and found a different hotel. Will not book Holiday Inn Express.

A very small detail but wanted coffee on the way to the airport early in the morning and coffee that was supposed to be out and ¿fresh¿ was cold

I was in San Jose for work so didn't spend too much time in the room. Friendly staff. Room was clean. Breakfast had decent choices (pancakes, eggs, bagels, muffins, cereal). Didn't use the pool or fitness room so can't speak to those.

My room was near one of the entrances on the first floor and it got quite noisy in the evenings due to other guests. Not something the hotel can control though so didn't have it affect the rating.

Someone was given a key to my room and attempted to enter. With the latch on the door set they did not get into my room. The staff apologized for the misunerstanding.
