AC Hotel San Jose Santa Clara

Very polite staff, except the morning person serving the breakfast buffet. She was a little snippy, but everyone else was lovely. The Bartender was a highlight of our visit. He was kind and helpful and made us feel like regulars.

The bed was comfortable

Before booking our room I called multiple times to ask questions about the area and wanting to know what all is open during Covid 19. Not once did they mention that there will be no housekeeping (change our own sheets), no breakfast, no dinning,etc

Room was clean

I paid extra for a certain room type only to arrive and find out it was unavailable. Very disappointing.

The food waas terrible. Eggs and what resembeled a quich was cold. The croissants were cold and hard and I'm not sure what the meat was but I was sick all day.

It's relatively new, the pricing, and the service was impeccable.

I was pleased the parking was only 22 bucks! We went to the Morgan Wallen concert and enjoyed that the lobby was themed and the bar had snacks/ drinks before and after the show! It was amazing to be able to purchase late night snacks as well after the show! Great idea!!!

The breakfast was ok! I was hoping for better pastries, fruit etc. it would’ve been perfect if I had my kids with me. There wasn’t a lot to pick from when we made it downstairs.

The hotel did not have my booking.com reservation in their system, took forever to check in but they did honor my rate that I reserved the room on booking.

The lounging area around the fire pits was very comfortable and spacious. My group had adults with children and we enjoyed spending the evening there. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Ice machines do not dispense cubes, crushed not appropriate for drinks. TV controls too complicated. Need Better lighting in bathroom for makeup application. Desk chair needs wheels. Room needs a more comfortable chair for lounging.

The hotel is modern with a spacious lobby area which is also used for breakfast. The staff were always eager to to meet our needs and went out of their way to assist us.

The room layout is a little unusual with no separate bathroom just an area off the bedroom studio-style. The room we had was not really conducive to relaxing in the evening.

Wish the room had more end tables. Only those sleeping next to the middle desk have a place for their things like phone or water. I also would have preferred a desk chair with rollers.

The property was very clean ad well ran! The attendants were beyond kind and helpful!

While I was allowed to bring our dog as it is a pet friendly facility, the outside accommodations were lacking. Around the entire facility is wood chips, no grassy areas unless I walked down the street to another building. We made do, but something to think about. The only other suggestion is having a freezer in the fridge units and a microwave in the rooms.
