    Pros +

    • The quaint feel and location.
    • The staff was friendly. The location was perfect and the room was very clean.
    • Clean, quiet

    Cons -

    • Outdated fixtures in the bathroom it looked like soap scum all over the areas
    • Room needs blackout or heavier curtains. They were basically see through curtains, especially when the light was on.
    • I got the closest room to the street and I could hear the cars just a tiny bit too much for my liking

It was clean and spacious. The lady at the front desk was very nice. Breakfast was fine. In all, it's what I hope for for the amount of money spent

Good location and even though we had a room fairly close to a busy street, it was very quiet. Wonderful breakfast and charming outdoors to enjoy for reading, eating, etc. Staff were great too!

Great location to Cal Poly. Property was relaxing, a throw back to the classic motor lodge.

For a 1 night stay, it was perfect. A longer stay might require more amenities like a pool.

The location and the continental breakfast was very good.

The beds were too hard for us. The management was obliging to change our room to one that had a newer mattress which was a little better but, still was not comfortable enough for us.

Staff is great. Morning breakfast very good for the time of C-19.

No walffe machine. Other wise great.

old fashioned, clean motel. just right.

some of the furniture was a bit ragged (tops of bed stands in particular).

Beautiful peaceful setting. Great breakfast. Been enjoying peach tree for two generations of cal poly students.

Location and breakfast was pretty good.

smal;l and outdated room, small TV

The room was not spacious but it was comfortable and had everything you need. Beds were very nice and comfortable; juice and cereal/breads for breakfast and great location just off freeway and short distance to downtown shops, restaurants, farm mkt

The room was very clean. The staff was extremely nice & helpful. It was a quiet location. I would stay here again.

It was neat and clean. Great breakfast and snacks. The room was comfortable and it was quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It reminded me of a vintage 1960's motel. I will stay nowhere else in SLO.

    All was great!

Close to Cal Poly, easy in and out, freeway close. Grounds had some fun extras (tree swing, lots of outdoor seating). Continental breakfast was ample.

Rooms are old but clean. Not bad if it is just to sleep.

    Location, free breakfast.

Some smell like in a dungeon

Simple, clean decor. The room we stayed in was clearly older, the bathroom was a bit to be desired (huge floor space and a shower stall... similar to a pool shower). But everything was clean and comfortable. The room we had was small, but big enough for 2

Our room was located to the side where it shares the property line with Apple Annie's... and apparently their parcking lot and dumpsters. Car doors at all hours, dumping trash and glass bottles, etc. made it impossible to enjoy the window open at night.

This is an older motor lodge style building with older construction. Given that, the room was Great! People really thought it out and made it very hospitable and comfortable. Front staff superb!! So friendly and hellful!!

It is an older hotel (although very well kept and maintained!) with smaller rooms.

Pretty good value for the money. The staff is nice. The breakfast/common room is very nice, as is the veranda. We spent a couple of hours reading the paper on the sunny veranda overlooking the mountains in the background. It's a low-key and quiet.

It's an old motel, with small rooms decorated with a hodge-podge kind of decor. It's all nicely maintained, but not fancy. We're pretty sure that the people rating it "excellent" are not the same people that rate the nearby "suites" hotels "excellent."

    6Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 2-20-2017

Not fancy but clean and comfortable. Our stay was weather related and we needed a place to hunker down to wait for a break in the storm. Served the purpose. Slept great. Good mattress and television. Nice breakfast.

Room lamps and lighting in general were harsh. Bedside lamps were fluorescents - also the same in the bathroom.
