Location is excellent, the reception team especially a young male guy can't remember his name were very good. Rooms were adequate and bed was comfy

I love this hotel and have stayed there for 30 years! The old gal needs a good facelift now…. To be sure! Cannot beat this location !

The location is great.
2 double-bed room is suitable for 2 pax only. Don't understand why it is being sold as good for 4 pax?

Hotel with style. Central location, Union Square is just across the corner. Proximity to shopping, restaurants and bars. Walking distance to majority of SanFran attractions, like Pier 39 or Lombard street.

Lovely hotel with a historic feel. Beautiful lobby and friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were a good size and the shower was nice and hot! The bathroom was a tiny bit small but manageable. Coffee was available in the morning. The location was ideal for all the sights and close to many good restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel!

Very comfortable bed and room was just fine considering we were out all day exploring. Perfectly clean and that's what matters most.Great central location. Only a couple blocks away from Powell station which the bart brings you to from SFO airport.
Overall hotel is dated, water was hot but did not stay a consistent temp in shower. Worked fine for our needs. No ac in room but it wasn't necessary. Fan worked very well, though on the higher speeds it was squeaky.Did not mention the issues to staff because they were so minor for us.

Clean, wide and comfortable room. Good service and very kind staff. Good price compared to the offered service. The hotel served a light breakfast despite of a no-breakfast tariff. Highly recommended.
