Tilden Hotel

The location was good. Walking distance from union Square.

Well the old heater, that i didn't turn on. was leaking water apparently all night woke up to step on a wet floor. And the fire alarm started ringing at about 3 am. Woke us up. And never got any kind of call or notification. I stayed up for 45 mins wondering what was happening.

My room wasn't actually ready when I got there; bed was not done, bathroom and thresh was not clean. I had to come back to the front desk and they reallocated me. There was a fire alarm during the night that woke me up but ended up being nothing.

Room had a charm fo it we liked. Great location. Staff were great.

I couldn't stream from my phone to the TV. I saw all the other room numbers to connect to but not ours.

Very good location - walkable to many touristy spots. Clean and very spacious room. Many thanks to lovely lady at the reception ! She was very friendly, professional and made our stay even better ! :)Little gym is also a bonus. We had a pleasant stay in Hotel Tilden.

My room was very clean, location perfect, staff very friendly.

Multiple things were wrong with our room such as the TV didn't work properly and the window was broken so we had no access to fresh air. No hangers, no trash cans throughout the room. Miniature bathroom sink with a large overhanging glass shelf which made it impossible for us to was our faces over the sink. We alerted staff about our concerns and a very friendly and empathetic hotel Manager/Maintenance employee Maritza attempted to solve the issue but unsuccessful. We were forced to seek entertainment in the city and that was one of the positives of our stay. At check out front desk staff reversed valet charges which was $60 due to the disappointing room. Under careful consideration I would never patronize this hotel again.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was neat and clean.

The walls are a bit thin so I could hear all the clamor in the hallway.

The location was great. Right by Union Square and a 10-minute walk from BART. Was able to get around the city easily from here. There coffee shop is awesome!

They are staffing on a shoestring. 3 employees working in concert to cover valet, front desk, and management roles. You can end up waiting to check in or get your question answered for longer than desired. The heater in all rooms does not work.

The room was so disappointing. The carpet was so dirty and the riom was so small. It is not like hotel more like motel. The price was so high given the room condition. The location was okay but there are too many homeless hearby.
