Hampton Inn & Suites Sacramento at CSUS

Close off the freeway to locations we needed.

1. When we arrived Friday night - the door would not open & staff were just chatting inside. Finally, one security person opened the door. I approached the counter - the Concierge did not even acknowledge us nor look up for over 30 seconds. Rude!!!!

I really liked the friendly and helpful staff and the clean room. Also, I thought the complimentary breakfast had good selections.

I was annoyed by the charge for parking.

Staff was not very inviting or helpful. We booked 2 rooms and one of the rooms barely had shampoo or conditioner so we asked them to replace it and the staff looked at us as if we wanted to take the items home with us.. felt like we were being judged

Staff was friendly, breakfast was solid.

Room was disgusting. Large stain on carpet right next to bed. Nightstand covered in dirt, wiped with towel and towel was brown. Charge $8.50 for parking and there¿s no other options.

The room was spacious and clean, the staff was really really friendly and the location was great! Easy to walk to nearby shops and eateries and close enough to uber to the hot night clubs!

Bathrooms were locked by the pool..

The staff was great. The parking was great. The breakfast was good.

Location was less than desirable, homeless people defecating, screaming at us, asking for money, graffiti, poor choice for restaurants, lots of construction, we did not feel safe outside of the hotel.

Nothing. I experienced an awful vacation because of this hotel.

The bed bugs. I returned home with bed bugs after being eaten alive and after struggling to sleep at night due to bed bugs. I had an allergic reaction an asthma attack on the 3rd day after I got bit. Tons of psychological paranoia issues as well.

The room layout and storage areas were highly efficient yet still modern and decorative. It¿s very close to the freeway and Sacramento state university. The complimentary breakfast was well-stocked and tasty.

Not in the best area of town and difficult to get to due to nearby construction.

Staff was pleasent room was clean, security was good.

The location was not what I expected, being that there were homeless ppl around. Bad neighborhood. Breakfast could have stayed at 6 instead of 7am., have more workers in kitchen to help get food out faster.

The fact that i was charged for parking my vehicle in the hotel parking lot. The hotel doesn¿t let you know until you have checked it.

The rooms were clean the staff was nice and they followed all the rolls with the covered pandemic health and safety

The location the outside environment is kind of in a low poverty neighborhood

New hotel, so nice amenities. We didn’t hear other rooms but we may have been lucky and placed a few rooms from others. Room was nice and clean

There was trash everywhere in the parking lot and surrounding the building. Most other visitors that we encountered were not wearing masks and attempting to social distance.

We stayed for a week and the room was cleaned only twice, although it might have been possible to request it. separately. We didn't request it because we assumed cleaning works automatically.
