Inn at Palm Springs

Not much but it was located conveniently.

The hotel was filthy. Carpets hadn't been vacuumed except for the middle of the room. Chair and ottoman had dirt debris from who knows what was underneath, what looked like gum was stuck on the carpet (very old carpet). sheets,towels only on 3rd day.

HUGE SHOWER, NICE POOL AREA AND FREE WIFI!

The room was big, not particularly new in the furniture but it was ok for the price

The location is quite noisy because it's on a big street so you might get waken up during the night by the cars

Check in staff was excellent. Gave us a discount coupon for "Trio" restaurant. We went for dinner and it was delicious. We were surprised that Breakfast was at "Rick's Restaurant" located 3 very long blocks away. But it was really good and offered either free standard breakfast or $7 off any menu item. Loved that they use a real key for the door. We were offered to pick fruit from the lemon or orange trees. The front desk also printed out our boarding passes (I emailed them to her personal email). So lovely and helpful. It was much appreciated. Good selection of coffee and cocoa options from a big machine in the main lobby and free loaner bicycles! Good to use to get to breakfast down the road! The bed was very comfortable and the pool area was very well tended. Fun art all around. Location was perfect. Close to the airport with lots of eating, drinking and shopping options. Great fridge, sink and counter in a separate room. Would have been very convenient for an extended stay.

There was no hot water in our room so we skipped taking a shower. We had one badly flickering desk lamp and the floor was sticky and made our socks and bare feet turn black. Think it was "cleaned" with a dirty mop as the room still smelled strongly of cleaning fluid.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly; I felt we were treated more like family members. We were first assigned an upstairs room, but because my husband has a knee issue and the hotel doesn't have an elevator, a staff member proactively came to our room and asked if we needed to switch to a room on the first floor with no steps to climb. I really appreciated the caring gesture they showed. When our neighbor had their TV/music volume loud enough for us to hear until after midnight, I sent a text to the hotel guest service, and they took care of the issue within a few minutes. Their promptness was very impressive.

The soundproofing isn't great, which could be a problem late at night when you're trying to sleep.

Nice grounds, comfortable rooms, good location convenient to restaurants. Excellent breakfast at Rick’s Restaurant nearby (vouchers provided by hotel).

Sink and shower very slow to drain.

Loved the quaint, spunky spot! The rooms were so cute and surprisingly roomy. The pool was clean and private. The coffee machine was top notch!!

Photos misrepresented the facility. Old In a loud location with loud and old a/c. The receptionist was very pleasant and accommodating. She rates a 10.

Once I enter the property I am taken to an oasis of calm. They are accepting of our little dogs and have a 24/7 coffee machine! The staff is friendly and helpful.

It was a great location, close to downtown. The waterfall garden noise outside provided a nice ambience to fall asleep.

Breakfast was exceptional as it is at a local good diner. Courtyard feel for then pool, seats, and tables is nice. Staff is exceptionally good.

Microwave, sink, and refrigerator was nice but silverware should be supplied.

We had a great stay as a family - the staff was friendly, the breakfast coupons were great value, this was a perfect little stop on our way to Joshua Tree.
