    Pros +

    • Mid-century resort with all of the nice details you would expect plus a few unexpected luxuries that make you feel special and pampered. A resort with an intimate feel—the staff was friendly and the service was impeccable.
    • L'Horizon is rated one of the top luxury spa hotels in CA and meets all expectations. The Staff was phenomenal. Every detail is attended to.
    • Excellent staff. A small ultra luxury resort that's not to be missed! This property does it right.

    Cons -

    • $5 bottles of water in the in-room bar? Petty.
    • Dirty room, old not 5 star in any way.
    • Signage to hotel is very small and easy to miss. Rooms could use much better lighting. However price is too costly.

Beautiful property and room. Great to have the pool right outside our door. Very attentive service by staff especially by Ricardo. Ten minute walk to Chabad

Signage to hotel is very small and easy to miss. Rooms could use much better lighting. However price is too costly.

Hotel is cute and location is great. Comfortable rooms and decent food. It’s a bit ridiculous to have to pay for valet parking when the parking lot is small and the car gets driven 10 feet and parked.

Wonderful hotel, excellent staff & great service. Loved the chill out feel, especially lounging by the pool. Breakfast was a treat, best pancakes ever! So easy to get in & out of town with great location to Palm Springs & surrounding sites. Will highly recommend.

    Lame

The lights wouldn’t stay on and no would pick up the phone. Two meals and a cookie cost $300

    Clean good shape dog friendly

The suite was a waste, the living room area has no TV so what’s the point of having a suite ?

Location felt private and secluded yet easy to access. We could walk out of the property to a few restaurants or easily access the pool bar for a quick bite. The landscaping is stunning and well kept. The rooms have wonderful details and perks. I used the Nespresso multiple times a day and it was always stocked. The turn down service was fantastic. Our ice bucket was filled for an evening night cap. We felt very taken care of. We are very grateful for our room, in particular, had a secluded patio and everywhere we looked was green to soak in a little bit of nature while still laying in bed. Thank you to the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Love the property. Beautiful mid century modern units and each has an outdoor patio which are lovely. The mineral pool is great

There are places that need maintenance and the tv is difficult to operate. Lack of good service and lack of communication between the staff. The curtains are stained. A little maintenance could go a long way

The breakfast was fabulous! and they accommodated my food sensitivities. A great setting eating outside by the pool. Lunch was equally wonderful and you could eat it at your lounge chair or one of the many seating options around the property.

    The weather!

Overall vibe is very consistent with Palm Springs, nice touches with amenities such as Le Labo products and Hermes throw blanket and pillow, pool areas are clean and small and quiet, staff is very helpful, overall a luxe feel and very relaxing.

Minimal facilities beyond pool, restaurant, bar. No gym. There is a yoga class on Sat and Sun am and by appointment. No other fitness options. No relationships with local gym or golf course or pickleball courts. Not sure about spa treatments. Potentially. there was an option for in room massage?? Rooms are very pricey and not very speacious and the patios are not as well appointed as outlined on website. It looked like there were private hot tubs and fire pits on the patios, but that was only in the Residence which is very pricey, stand alone building with a room and dining and living area. The Hermann Bungalows are bigger and better appointed than L'Horizon rooms, but not by. as much as the price differential and there is not a separate sitting room and they are not detached buildings so you can hear adjacent room TV and, in our case, a constantly barking dog. Nice idea, good vibe, need to do more with the accommodations to justify the premium pricing.

Ended up in one of the Herman bungalows-very new and felt private. Adults only also a big plus.

Despite new construction, poor noise insulation.Received a call day prior asking for our expected arrival time “so we can be ready for you”…. When we arrived at that time, around 3, we’re told room not ready-no problem we thought since std check in is 4 pm. After it started getting cool around 4 was told because the prior occupants were offered a late check out, the room wouldn’t be ready until 5-totally unacceptable-after providing my feedback were moved to the Herman bungalow suite but not the way to start out an $800/night stay.

Great location. Pool area was great. Staff very friendly.

Rooms are a bit small. Food and beverages were overpriced.

Beautiful swimming pool area. Each room has its own little patio.Staff was very responsive and ready to help.Nice turned down service with bottles of water, ice and other treats.

Internet really sucks in the bungalows. Best place to use the WiFi is at the pool…The dust on the parking lot.

This remains my favourite hotel in the whole world. I love Palm Springs and the mid-century design and staying in this iconic location was a dream come true. The hotel was absolutely breathtaking, the facilities were insane, the attention to detail was something I haven’t experience before. The concept of having the historic bungalows on the same property with the new and modern ones was incredible. Location was fantastic. Can’t wait to visit again!

Hermann bungalows is the newer part of the property, the private pool is shallow and has fantastic semi-submerged lounges that you can spend all day in, especially with the shade umbrellas up

My premier suite with a pool view did not have a view of the pool
