Hotel California - A Town & Desert Boutique Hotel

The room was very clean and tidy. The pool was lovely for an evening swim with candles and music. Free ample parking. We felt very safe and secure. Friendly staff.

The relaxing atmosphere was perfect. The staff was friendly and funny and really care that you have a pleasant experience. The pool and hot tub were lovely. It is set up to be a quiet peaceful oasis. It is the perfect place to unwind in Palm Springs.

This Hotel is a gem ! It's a small intimate boutique hotel, perfect for couples who just want a bit of peaceful R&R. The Hotel manager greeted us personally, as did the owner. By day, beautiful but by night..... wow !! An absolute fairytale dreamland.

The general manager was amazing. He called us within minutes of our booking with check in details and then offered a personal tour of the hotel upon our arrival. Definitely will stay there again.

The service and that they fully take care of you! Small place but everything and more provided. Love they had wine waiting as I mentioned it was our anniversary. Also, basket of snacks and waters included. Quiet pool and spa and seating reserved.

The oasis that it is

Very clean, charming little Inn. Not the Ritz but very comfortable clean place to start your tour of Palm Springs and surrounding area. Very green relaxing place. Certainly a secure place to stay and get a good nights sleep.

Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Always quick to respond to any questions we had prior to our arrival.

Sadly, this is really just a motel. We were disappointed that picture online make the property look more boutique-ish. Our room lacked any personality. White walls, stained cushions at the small dining table. A large room with nothing comfortable about it. Maybe place a loveseat at the foot of the bed? Bathroom had many issues - toilet flushed twice on its own, then continued to run for about 2 minutes before the water flow stopped. Shower didn't work properly - the mechanism to switch the faucet from tub to shower was jammed so it was half and half, standing in inches of water while trying to shower. In the morning, pipes moaned as the people above us showered. Breakfast was all prepackaged food - nothing fresh. We had just come from Phoenix at a Drury Inn where you were provided free dinner and drinks, hot breakfast for under $200 a night. This stay at $300 was a huge disappointment.

Property was very cute, comfortable and clean. Loved the ambiance, especially at night around the pool. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Our room was an apartment which was great but it was very dated. They are in the process of renovating rooms but ours wasn’t. Still comfortable but was expensive for that room.
