    Pros +

    • The room set up was great and the location. In all it was great, if you texted the minimal staff they respond quickly.
    • Nature and privacy.
    • Leaving the hotel!!!

    Cons -

    • Shower had used shampoo and conditioner bottles in it, not sure they cleaned it. The shower head was horrible and needs to be replaced or cleaned in CLR, water was spraying everywhere. There was a "cease and desist" sign on the restaurant, it was closed.
    • The shower door would not close all the way. Water leaked into floor. And the codes to get in was a little confusing. Took awhile to get ahold of someone to send me hotel room codes to get into my room and the main common kitchen area too.
    • Disliked Total Experience from No on site checkin to be placed above communal kitchen in 2nd Floor 8 person BUNK BED ROOM. Worst hotel experience of my life.!!!!

It was clean, and located near the town. The beds were some of the comfiest we have ever slept on in a hotel.

There was no on site staff, and it was not clearly communicated ahead of time, or on the actual property, that you had to call an off-site representative to check in. The photos that this place are using are bordering outdated. Feels super deceitful.

    Hammock in room

No staff on duty. If we hadn?t arrived when the coffee bar was open we wouldn?t be able to get in the room. Tv worked only half the time. A/C and heater stopped working. Lights didn?t works or would turn off. No one answered service line for issues.

The location was great, and there are plenty of options for the outdoorsy people.

I did not like the fact that there was no front desk, or even a staff member on site. Checking into the hotel was a nightmare. I was supposed to get an email and download an app, wouldn't let me create an account. Took over an hour to check in via phone.

It was close to where we wanted to be for our activities.

There¿s mold in the shower. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all soap. The cafe per the website opened at 7 but nobody was available until well after 8.

Designed for the adventurer, we appreciate the boot warmers and my daughter loves to lounge in the hammock. All the necessities, like a refrigerator and microwave and a reasonable price.

Walls are very thin. Someone was slamming doors at all hours of the night and staff is not on premises at night to address any issues.

    Convenient location, amenities close by.

Train noise all night Check in was confusing, had to call to get a code for the door.

    Charming, well kept motel.

Lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms could deter some guests.

    8BrendaPosted on: 9-9-2017

The aesthetic!! Inside and out, this place felt like a little bit of a time machine. There weren't a ton of amenities, but the charm of the place was apparent and the people running it were kind.

I would have loved a mini fridge.

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-24-2017

The woman who checked me in was very welcoming and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the towels of good quality. I like that it was like a motel of the past but that is also it's problem.

The carpet was old and should be replaced. It seemed unclean. I liked the plaid pattern of the bedspread but it seemed pretty old and could probably use a washing.

    2Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 7-18-2017

    Easy to find.

Rooms were highly outdated. The wifi did not work, the signal did not reach our room. The walls are very thin as we heard EVERYTHING from our neighbors. The parking lot was not secure, several car alarms went off through out the evening.

It is centrally located and easy to get to.

The contactless checkin, an introvert's paradise.

Not enough electricity to power the microwave. Heater was the loudest I’ve ever experienced, no sleep.

    3BebhinnPosted on: 1-19-2026

    Location was good.

No fitted sheets for bed, just sheets, they kept wrinkling as I slept. Air conditioner was loud, could not sleep with it on, but it was too hot without it. Not all lightbulbs or lamps working. Smelled like febreeze when we walked in which translates as goodwill smell to me. It was abrasive. Liked the cup holder outside the door, the shower was nice and the little desk was good.
