    Pros +

    • Beautiful boutique hotel. Stylish pool. Nice restaurant.
    • Very conveniently located, clean rooms, love that the sink is outside of the bathroom, cute decor, friendly staff!
    • Bigger rooms

    Cons -

    • Chairs in the room were uncomfortable, road noise was a little loud inside our room (we were on the first floor)
    • Bright headache inducing LEDS movement accivated not on dimmers
    • The only thing that I thought would be an improvement would either be a set of drawers in the room or at least one of those foldable suitcase racks to more easily access clothes.

Extremely professional, friendly staff across the board. Food at Marco Polo was super, and I considered moving there just to take a tucked away table permanently, bring my laptop, and go to work.

    Restaurant/pool/location/ staff.

Walks too thin between rooms very difficult to sleep I believe that is only certain rooms so ask them for a quiet floor

What an excellent, thoughtfully prioritized hotel! So many of the good qualities of some other hotels (The Ace, The Standard, etc), but done so much better! The room size, layout, and design are incredible. the cork floors, terrazzo sinks, tiled window ledge, plants, etc. All so thoughtful, and everything is so crisp and new feeling. The mini nespresso machine is a perfect touch. Marco Polo is a great restaurant. The focaccia with tomato compote is insane, as is the cacio e pepe and the vongole. I had a lovely martini there as well.

These are truly minor issues...The sound isolation between rooms (and floors) could be better. You can hear neighboring toilets flushing and the murmuring of people speaking in the adjacent rooms.A Bluetooth speaker to connect your phone to to play music in the rooms would be a nice addition.I wish that tiled window ledge had a space to sit at, to work, or to eat. A table or desk is the one thing missing. The closet light should turn off when the door is shut, not on a timer.Could use a coat hook/s right after you exit the entry to hang jackets and clothing. It would be amazing if there were a few spa amenities on offer, but now I'm reaching!

Ideal location. Spacious room. Lovely pool. Great on-site restaurant.

There was a pool party on July 4 that was not advertised to us in advance. One of the main reasons we selected this property was the pool, so it was a little disappointing that the pool was totally overrun for one of the days of our long weekend stay.

    Rooms were lovely

I stayed here during a heatwave in LA because it had a pool, but the pool was closed for a private party. No one had informed me the pool would be closed until I was kicked out.

I always send clients to this hotel and I also enjoy staying there when I travel to LA. Location is great, it’s small and intimate, there is such a good vibe. Staff is amazing ;)

    - Very lively, trendy area with lots of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, shopping, and of course Erewhon.- Staff was very friendly, valet was reasonably priced at under $40 a day and we never waited more than a couple minutes for our car.- AC in the room worked very well (essential in the summer).- Pool was busy in the afternoon, but is open until 10 pm.

    - Housekeeping skipped our room, which was disappointing since we had stopped by the front desk to confirm they would be coming by. Front desk waived the resort fee for the inconvenience, which we appreciated. - There are no facial tissues in the room, and the toilet paper is sooo rough. Very strange for a hotel that uses Diptyque toiletries. - If you're on the bottom floor of the hotel, expect to hear people walking around in the rooms above you.

Great location within walking distance of grocery stores and restaurants. Felt very safe at all times. Greeted upon arrival and received a wonderful room upgrade. Super easy valet parking. We also enjoyed the on-site restaurant and pool.

Stylish boutique hotel, perfect to explore Silver Lake and nearby neighborhoods.

Design, location, on-site restaturant and pool area.

Friendly staff and great location if you like Silverlake in LA.

The resort fee was not clearly disclosed during booking, and it added an unexpected charge to my stay. I believe hotels should be upfront about all fees from the start to avoid surprises. Honesty and transparency go a long way in providing a better guest experience.

    9TylerPosted on: 8-4-2025

We only stayed one night, a Monday, but we were upgraded to a suite, which was very nice. The room was lovely, the bed comfortable, the Diptyque toiletries were great, and the fact that we were able to get a pool pass for the full next day was wonderful. I would very happily stay here again!

    Truly I have no complaints!

    9RostenPosted on: 8-4-2025

This is a very cozy, stylish hotel. I love the pool, breakfast restaurant (didn't care for the dinner menu). It's conveniently located within walking distance to other restaurants, Erewhon. I like the feature they use to text the front desk for anything you need.

They need doors on the shower, and to change the shower heads/ water pressure. The shower is always cold without a door to keep the heat/steam in, and the water pressure is so low that it is hard to wash & rinse you hair.

Spacious and nicely designed rooms for LA. Location is good - walking distance to shops and supermarkets.Facility is very cute and the outdoor area gorgeous.

    not much.
