    Pros +

    • the staff and location
    • The hotel is in a good location, staff was friendly and the room was clean. The bathroom had a rain shower which was a nice surprise too.
    • Great location - near the Academy Museum.  the Evening Bartender and Breakfast supervisor was very friendly and remembered my name.

    Cons -

    • I thought the bed could have been more comfortable - made my back hurt.
    • Unfortunately - A/C broken - and I didn't realize that until late at night. I noted it to the front desk in the am, after not the most restful sleep in and a pricey hotel. They smiled and noted my concern, and said repairs were being done later. :(
    • The pool area closes at 10pm. But, not the music that's played all night. Could hear the bass all night in the room assigned to me. Beyond disappointed. Didn't get any shut eye and then off to work bright and early the next day.

My surgery cancelled at last minute, so room was unoccupied. Attempted to at least get voucher for next surgery date. Will use another hotel for the April 25, 2022 cancer procedure. I just get to eat the $ 300.00 + bill.

    Newer. Clean.

Valet not on duty. Noisy. Pitiful continental breakfast Weird neighborhood. Minimal response to a bad noise situation near my room

The check in person Ms. Rashida (spelling may be off) took extra special care of us. She’s the standard of great hospitality. She delivered excellent service and made the stay extra special. Izzy the first Isiah offered countless amazing recommendations that we loved and looked us to feel like a local.

I wish the shower was tile. I wish there was a soap dish.

Air conditioning was broken we sat in a hot room for hours we told the hotel they did nothing but offer breakfast not cool I’m pregnant and I didn’t enjoy this hotel couldn’t even sleep…the hall way was cooler than our room

    Better customer service

It was close to where we needed to goRooms was nice.

We thought we had the parking included and I guess "we" didn't pay attention we had to add it. It was super expensive, for 1 night $60. The next day we had to wait a bit for the valet. Seem they didn't have enough people around the check out time for the valet.

The outdoor seating area on the street. The rooftop pool even though it was small. The neighborhood is great! We went to the Peterson museum and the la Brea tar pits and would have done more but we had to leave. The downstairs areas are very nice but the room is pretty sparse but nice. Quality bathroom fit and finish Valet parking The market with a wide selection of items.

The worst coffee we have had in our life. Chaise lounges by the pool filthy, ripped, faded and stained.Only one bar of soap. We like when in the shower and the sink. Would like a couple of drawers for clothing. They're only two small drawers that you could fit maybe some socks in and some underwear. And they were at floor level. The light timer in the bathroom turns off before you can finish a shower.Vanity mirror is very poorly lit. It was hard to shave. Oh that'sI'm just going to say it again: the coffee tasted like plastic and coffee. You have to take care of this. This nice of a hotel should have quality coffee in the rooms! Or at least start plastic coffee.

Was really clean, got free coffee, breakfast was excellent ? .Money well spent.

That we had to leave lol

When I finally got to a clean room it was nice

They sent me to a used room, I was a female traveling alone and the room had a male in there

    Location is convenient.

It took me 2 days to get simple hotel slippers from the staff. They told me they ran out of slippers and had no intentions to supply quickly. The attitude of some of the staff was not nice. I insisted since I did not want to walk bare foot (no carpets on the floor) or with my shoes in the room. Then they delivered but aleady 2 days had passed. It should not be so diffult to maintain slippers avaliable. It's just basic comfort.Parking is expensive at 60 usd.

Property is easy to find, facilities are clean, and staff is always friendly

    1AmirPosted on: 11-5-2025

It was a good hotel but they charged my card for $390 so to out my approval even after I gave a cash deposit. It has almost been one month and they have not refunded me. Additionally I got another charge of $100 from AC Marriot hotels and the manager said they don’t know who it is charging me. So they owe me a total of $400 after one month.

    The fraudulently charged my card

Clean comfortable room and a large modern bathroom.

$66/day parking fee is ridiculously expensive. Breakfast is also too expensive.

    9Maria A.Posted on: 10-21-2025

Clean, comfortable beds, rooms, great shower products, quiet, beautiful rooftop lounge.

Not enough lighting in the vanity area.

    9MeaghanPosted on: 10-13-2025

Very Clean, comfortable stay. Staff was fantastic. Will be staying again in the future.

The property is undergoing renovations on the ground level but that wasn't an issue for me. Looking forward to seeing it when finished.
