    Pros +

    • The beds were comfortable and most off the staff was very nice except for the valet.
    • This was a nice hotel in terms of design and cleanliness. The gym was above average, too.
    • Swanky spot, awesome restaurants, LOVE the wine and snack hour, awesome people working there.

    Cons -

    • There was no mini fridge in the room. Also, the air conditioning did not work very well.
    • Called 3 different times about bringing an espresso machine that was clearly inlcluded with the capsules provided. No one ever brought the espresso machine up.....don't come here if you want decent service in LA (and I mean decent at the very minimum)....
    • The area was bad and the restaurant wasn't open (the website claims 3 restaurants but they are actually "sister" restaurants you need to walk to, and like I said, the area isn't nice). Worst of all, a fire alarm woke us up at 1:30am. Wouldn't recommend.

Rooms need soundproofing. I could hear every little sound from the hallway and I think the room next to me even though I was wearing earplugs (!)

The hotel room itself was fantastic. The room was small but very clean and designed beautifully.

It's new and modern and clean. Great staff. Central location.

Rooftop party Tues through Sat night until 2am. There's a DJ and it's loud. It attracts tons of people from the surrounding area. The street in front of the hotel is mess because of the party. Also, there is no driveway. Shady neighborhood.

Hotel had limited dining options for the size of the hotel. Hotel had limited pool chairs for the size of hotel and number of guest.

Great property very clean and nice touch with the drinks and charcuterie at 5-6

Location was little scary to walk at night

The hotel exceeded our expectations. We were expecting something much more basic. The location is perfect: a relaxed 10-minute walk to the Dolby Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard and about the same to the nearest metro station. The condition of the hotel and the room was flawless. Even the corners of the shower were spotless, with no traces of rust.An unexpected highlight was a fully floor-to-ceiling glass wall with a view of the Hollywood sign. The staff were extremely friendly and polite. Brigette Joy was especially lovely. During check-in, she told us about all nearby venues and attractions and also offered free tickets to a nearby nightclub and a few other venues (I don’t remember exactly which ones).I assume this was a standard hotel partnership with local businesses, but (a) it was nice, and (b) the hotel managers did a great job making the effort. We didn’t end up using the offers, though — we’re the kind of travelers who plan everything down to the hour, with all tickets bought in advance and restaurant reservations already made.

The hotel amenities itself were ok, however mainly liked the location being close to things in Hollywood.

I had a terrible experience with this hotel due to what I can only describe as dishonest and deceptive billing. I booked through the Booking.com app and received a confirmation email that clearly outlined all charges, including a “destination fee” and tax. Everything appeared transparent, until I arrived. At check-in, the hotel attempted to charge me again for the full cost of my stay, despite me already having paid in full. Then, upon checkout, they charged my card for the destination fee, even though it was already included and paid for in the original booking. It’s now been over three weeks and I’m still trying to recover the incorrect charges. Their customer service and refund process are unhelpful and frustrating, making it feel nearly impossible to resolve. This place knows exactly what they’re doing. It’s a scammy, predatory setup preying on travelers who assume they’re dealing with a reputable business. Be extremely cautious if you plan to stay here, or better yet, avoid it altogether.

Close to Hollywood Boulevard, a very modern and clean hotel with great rooftop bar.

Would be great to offer complimentary breakfast

Very clean and comfortable Great location Friendly and attentive staff

It is very noisy. Music from their own club night continued to 2am! Sound proofing inadequate - or music way too loud! Great hotel if you want to party. Not great if like us you were jet lagged and wanted to sleep

Great rooms, super clean and great designs.

Front desk was a little short and not very welcoming to questions when we first arrived. But everyone else was wonderful and super sweet and helpful!

Modern, fresh, close to everything, helpful staff and fantastic room. Acknowledgment of our anniversary was lovely with a bottle of champagne and tray of desserts :)

Wished we’d had a view of Hollywood sign, we travelled a long way to see it!

Nothing the first day that we got there it was horrible. There was a party and BIG line outside the entrance we COULDN’T GET IN the building for a WHOLE HOUR. Once WE we did get to our room the music was SO LOUD. Most horrible stay experience at any hotel by FAR

The staff didn’t really care to help or do anything for us and Valet barely helped at night people were drunk outside the building peeing and out of control. Total chaos at night do not recommend for any type of night time check in’s. I checked out and DIDN’T GET ANY TYPE OF REFUND. I still want that refund ASAP for at least the TWO NIGHTS I DIDN’T STAY THERE!

Bridgette was very nice and caring. The room was spacious. The pool was nice. The happy hour from 5–6 PM was a really nice opportunity for a solo traveler to meet other people. The staff at the entrance were kind and welcoming.

The food wasn’t very good. The location didn’t feel very safe, and if you don’t have a car, it’s quite far from all the tourist attractions.

Comfortable and tasteful decoration. Helpful staff. Convenient location.

    Room a bit small.

    9ElizabethPosted on: 10-9-2025

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel with our 2 kids (9 & 11). Our room was very comfortable and well appointed; the rooftop pool was fabulous & the breakfast was delicious. Location was an easy walk to Dolby Theatre and other sights. The complimentary drinks and nibbles in the well decorated lobby/bar was a lovely, unexpected plus. Would happily stay again.

As other reviews have mentioned, the noise from the nightclub can be heard in the rooms. We were on a floor in the middle of the hotel so it was reasonably insulated and did not keep us awake, but I could imagine it would be problematic for light sleepers on higher floors.

Location was fantastic, food & drinks were great. The pool facilities are also fantastic. Excellent service staff and the beds were very comfortable.
