Inn at Highway 1

Good safe place for me to stay in by myself. Like that I get a fridge as I always bring food with me.

The wifi is pretty challenging. You need to be patient with buffering lol

Clean,friendly and updated room. Staff are pleasant.

Staff doesn¿t hover and watch you or who visits your room. Very accommodating. Calm and quiet. The white linens are a bright white and very clean and fresh smelling.

It was surprisingly modern and updated! Their renovation was very well done! Had the usual amenities and I was pleased with the quality fir there price!

Had nothing to do with the hotel but across the street was a little concerning. I did make sure I cleared valuables from car as I was a tad worried they¿d be at risk if I accidentally left them in sight in car overnight.

The hotel was recently remodeled, nice job on the flooring and shower. Plenty of free parking,however the breakfast was (well) free.

Nothing it's old and looking runned down from the outside, at least do a nicer paint job.

On line states 24 hour clerk. But there was not, a note on the door stating that the offices closed 11pm until 7am. So I was there at 11:30pm, smh, unable to check in.

Clean, close to my destination location.

Thin walls, close to loud roadway.

All around it was good. The staff was nice. Breakfast was decent. Room was updated and price was good.

Curtains were broken and being on H street, although in a decent area of town, was a bit loud with road noise.

The lower price was main reason we chose this motel. It wasn't fancy, but very clean and recently remodeled so was comfortable and met our needs. Convenience of many restaurants & other stores nearby was appreciated. Front desk staff friendly & helpful.

Would have preferred a/c unit to overhead fan that was in room.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Long Bathroom vanity with space on each side of the sink to put toiletries.

Small breakfast w/2 options of cold cereal, juice, small muffin/rolls, apples & pancake making machine. You prepare your breakfast in nook then take your meal to your room to eat. Bit cramped in the bathroom with the shower so close to the vanity.

The rooms are updated. But that is the only good thing about the hotel. There is NO CENTRAL HEATING. Our room did NOT have any heater. After asking, the front desk gave a portable room heater from their office. One heater for room and bathroom.

Some of the furniture, chair for the desk and ironing table, were thrash. The stairs and corridor leading to the room were horrible. Continental breakfast was a joke. They ran out of milk. No fruits. Only pancakes. NOT A 3 STAR HOTEL. At BEST 1 STAR HOTEL

Not a 3 Star hotel. No A/C, just a ceiling fan that doesn't work. The room was far too hot. Also, the only way to heat the room (not needed this time) is a plug-in fan heater.

the staff when we checked in was good. The night shift was the worst. When we got back to our room at 10.30 PM WE WALKED INTO A SOGGY CARPET! went to the front desk they acted as if we left the water running. It turned out they had a broken water pipe

Why put a guest into a room with a wet carpet from broken water pipe? Why would they act as if it was no big deal? We have staid at six different Hotels/Motels in the Lompoc/Santa Innes area, will never go back there again, will bad mouth the Inn

Location. Large handicap room.

Breakfast wasn't what we expected. Machine to make pancakes was broken. No creamer for the coffee. Just cold cereal.

The room had no air xonditioning and norhing indicatwd this. It was over 100 fegrees and impoasible to sleep in the room.

The location was as expected. I was visiting Solvang and I knew this hotel was located outside of Solvang.

Everything! When I first arrived I was told I had to pay an add'l $30 for a bathtub, the room had fleas in the bed, the other room was noisy, and there was no manager onsite to resolve my concerns. I was told I would be reimbursed the full amount.

The motel was not that busy so we got a great deal. The above things let you know that we thought this was one of our best stops. The girl on the desk pointed out a great place to eat. The free breakfast was ablove average we received.

Although we had a great sleep, the bed was not exactly level.

Hotel under remodel? Pictures on website don't accurately reflect what you get in the room.Mold in the shower, Shower door did not close, overhead light in bathroom was falling, Heat in the room is from a plug-in heater and breakfast offered was below par

We usually stay in very high end hotels, but just needed a fast sleep over, outside appearance is average so we were concerned. After we got our rooms we were pleasantly surprised with how modern and clean the rooms were. Very satisfied.
