Hampton Inn Oakland/Hayward

Very clean and friendly staff.

Bed could have been more comfortable. Pillows very thin.

I've stayed at this hotel many times and will continue to come back! The staff are exceptionally nice, there is plenty of parking, and it is central to downtown Hayward while still feeling safe. Hotel employee at the front desk is amazing!

This hotel was very quiet! Even though it¿s on a busy 4-lane road, we heard nothing in our room. Breakfast offerings were quite numerous, something for everyone, and the eggs and bacon also offered were fresh and good tasting!

We had trouble getting our room warm; the thermostat wasn¿t working properly.

Only thing is I¿m a smoker and the smoking section is out front. I was approached a few times for a cigarette by strangers. Felt a little sketchy to be so close to the road in that area, especially at night. They need a barrier blocking from the road.

All the staff were amazing and went over and above our expectations. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved having the laundry facilities as we are a large family and we were staying for multiple days. The breakfast was great and staff was so helpful

Only one elevator and it was not functioning a few times during our stay. Shower drain was slow

It was clean, comfortable, breakfast was great, and the staff were really pleasant.

There was a faint musty smell in the room.

Great selection of food for (free) breakfast. Sufficient (free) parking. Well maintained though the elevator was a bit flaky but they got it fixed quickly. We didn't try out the swimming pool. We would definitely stay there again when in the area.

Volume on the TV in the lobby area was higher than necessary.

The location was a bit weird with the direction of traffic. There was also no working ice machine on our floor

The breakfast was open until 10. We are late risers and always miss breakfast. And it was delicious! My kids loved it. The personal waffles you could make was so cool!!

I enjoyed having a variety of quality breakfasts every morning, along with tea & coffee available 24 hours. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was very clean and smelt amazing! The staff were extremely professional and kind and also so welcoming! Both checking in and checking out was a breeze. I also appreciated how quickly the deposit lifted! Overall, an amazing hotel to stay at!

This is my go-to hotel when I visit my daughter at Cal State Wast Bay. It¿s always clean, reasonably priced, and one of the few hotels that offers a hot breakfast. When I was there the offering was scrambled eggs and bacon, waffles, cereal, yogurt

The staff was friendly, check in and out was smooth, and the hotel was close to everything and great breakfast options. I wished there was hot oatmeal like they used to have some years back. Don¿t like packaged oatmeal.

Everything met my expectations affordable rates. No hot tub.

Location and it was clean

Not housekeeping unless you stay more than 5days, unpfront did not explain when check in, then I asked why there were no housekeeping done,my towels I had used already so I went upfront and they gave me new ones

Restrooms are outdated, slight smell of urine and rust in tub drain. Weird old smell in room made it seem like the rooms were not cleaned efficiently.

nice location close to a lot of place very clean and breakfast was nice and staff right there making sure people used sanitizer before they went into food area. Staff were all so very nice

The host at the check-in counter was the rudest lady I have ever dealt with. I was trying to get my workers checked in over the phone and this lady said she refused to talk to me because I did not understand strange payment info she asked for.
