Redwood Inn

We got a room last minute.

Ice machine broken. Door didn't seem very secure, lots of excess play. NO air conditioning. Parking horrible. Armada barely fits. Parked on road. And very noisy. Heard what I thought were gunshots within a half hour of arriving.

Very hot water and pressure

Overpriced, in a noisy location, terrible bed, hard flat pillows, no air conditioning and couldn¿t sleep with the window open because of the noise.

Both of the staff that we met were very friendly and helpful. Gave us a good recommendation for breakfast the following morning. It suited all our needs when we were having a hard time finding a vacant room locally.

The upper balcony was a little rickety on the way to our room. We stayed very close to the motel side so that we didn¿t chance falling through.

This was a cheap room - but great location and lady at the front desk was wonderful. No frills ¿ but a clean room and a comfortable bed. Exactly what I ask for and what I got.

Parking was very tight, and Taco Bell Is directly behind hotel, so you here a lot of noise from them. Not the hotels fault, they have definitely been there longer than The Taco Bell.

The couple that checked me in and out were very nice. The room was very clean. In fact, it was cleaner than the expensive hotel I stayed at the night before. Compared to the price of the other hotels in town this was decent for the money.

The worst thing was the noise from the traffic on a one way street. Extremely loud til about 2am. I thought I'd stepped into the movie Fast and Furious! Of course, the other hotels were on even busier sections of the highway.

Lots of druggies not a safe area! Loud and noisy from Taco Bell. We were put in the back where Taco Bell was! Horrible 5 nights and days.

The room was a handicapped room so it was large, which was ok with me.

The room needs some updating, the carpet looked old as did the furnishings. Being a handicapped room the bathroom had a tub, too hard for a disabled person to use.

Busy street-kind , helpful staff. Asked for a fan and he gave it to us-called and asked if everything was okay

It was a very nice well run hotel! The owner was lovely and the room was in great shape! It was just a tiny bit warm!

It's right off the highway, easy to find,within walking distance of some amenities(grocery store,park/beach). The lady working in the office was really friendly, willing to answer questions & provided a lovely large fan when I asked for one

No a/c, no plugs along one wall, rusty shower bar, no breakfast, slow wifi.

The staff

Everything was great. The fridge made a horrible noise and had someone's left over food in it but they were going to fix it.

The convenience of being located in Crescent City within walking distance of the beach and ease of access to the Redwoods made this a great choice. The helpful staff only added to it.

Easy access from major highway.

It was dirty, worn down, and poorly maintained.

the bed is very good for a Travelodge. There is not a lot of option in this area but a good place to get in and out for Redwood. the location is very convenient, walking distance to stores and a beach front park.

the walk is really thin and it is old.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions to local points of interest.

The hotel was very old and needed some repairs.

Price was good, centrally located, friendly staff and decent mattress.

Bathroom had a strong smell of urine, wall paper was peeling, noisy environment, continental breakfast was doughnuts and apples quite literally.

Booked for 2 people. Though it was a double with 2 beds but only one bed.

Staff

This hotel was not a 2 star. Very old I was afraid something was going to crawl on me. Almost wanted to leave and loose out on my money but room was prepaid.

Clean and relatively comfortable. Donuts and breakfast breads for a grab and go breakfast.

No air conditioning. While it wasn't hot if you opened the window, there was a lot of traffic noise, so that was awkward, plus you had to have the curtains open to get air flow.

Lady at the front desk was sweet
