Wifi was spotty and slow
The room was spacious with a phenomenal view, located on the beach. Loved just going down a few steps onto the beach and shops and restaraunt a were close enough to walk to. Parking was convenient and free.
Our room was not ready upon check in and we had to wait a couple of hours to get in our room, but once inside, it was worth the wait.

Pictures looked like you would get a ocean view from you room no matter what room, that was not the case
Loved our four-night stay for a long- awaited family celebration. It was our first time to visit the area, and Carlsbad is a lovely town, in addition to the Beach Terrace Inn! Room and bed were very comfortable plus the ocean view was wonderful. Staff was very accommodating, especially Andrea at the front desk. The continental breakfast was delicious and imaginative. We felt quite welcome and are already hoping to return.

I stayed in a room with a balcony directly on the beach. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent in-room coffee. Nice bathroom facilities. Everything was first class. Very close to the restaurants and shops of Carlsbad.
Breakfast was only adequate. Some interesting cold options and pastries but rather minimal. No warm food.

Clean, close to the ocean. You could sit at different parts of the property and still see the ocean. With in walking distance to downtown. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I was able to charge my Tesla. The bed was so comfortable.

Walls are a bit thin. Had a very loud neighbor that had a very loud voice that talked to very late at night. Also, AC is very loud.
The fabulous customer service offered, the location was on the sand of the beach. Very welcoming environment, great food & shops within walking distance. Love our stay here. The sound of the ocean can definitely be heard in the rooms, it was exactly what we were looking for our weekend. First stay in Carlsbad, did not disappoint.

I booked 2 king beds, but got 2 queen beds. Didn't make any fuss, didn't realize until all luggage already in room, queens were ok.
