Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott San Diego Carlsbad

Friendly and efficient staff. Hot breakfast was good and it started early enough.

Nothing within walking distance to the hotel—which makes for a more quiet location but was slightly inconvenient.

It was like home away from home. Complete kitchen. Comfy couch with TV. Table n chairs for eating. Desk to work at. Separate room for bed. Door to bathroom closed and locked.

Long walks to the elevator but for the quiet, it was worth it. Would’ve liked trestle that blocked light from hallway. Also AC going in hallway even late at night. Two of the three washing machines were not functional

The friendliness of the woman that checked me in

The hotel had a very strong odor of mildew throughout the hallways and especially in the room. My bed looked as though so many had sat on it prior to my arriving.

Priced well clean and modern

Location Clean ample space in room

TV volume variatin and vibration Something was definitely not right

Room bathroom and tv were large. Very clean all over. Free parking

With the exception of a grumpy female night staff the rest of the staff were very pleasant and friendly. The property was clean and well maintained. I also liked that coffee and hot tea were always available in the lobby.

Was disappointed that there was no hot tub. The breakfast was just ok. I expected more from a Marriott property. La Quinta and Holiday Inn Beach properties nearby have much better selections for breakfast.

Excellent hotel comfortable and quiet. Has a breakfast that is complete and gives many choices. Comfortable bed and clean facility.

Off the beaten track. You definitely need a car. Shower pan, floor was a little beat up, kind of like KISS and Twisted Sister were having a dance off in steel heels but everything else great.

The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was good.

The sofa bed was very rough and made it difficult to sleep. There also isn't a hot tub.

Close to Legoland. Did feel safe. Breakfast was good.

Room was not fully cleaned- there was a paper cup with water on the dresser, trash in the bathroom trash bin. Sheets/bedding were clean and we arrived late so we didn¿t bother to change rooms. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, got there at the busiest time.

Location to Legoland, Shopping centers, and safe area in the city.

Oat milk available. Clean room.

Cold coffee. $10 parking fee was a surprise. Thermostat did not work right. Carpet had wrinkles, needed stretching.

It is a few miles from the beach. Quiet. The staff is helpful and friendly. I worked from the room for three weeks.

Breakfast was decent but mainly pre packaged heated up food. It lacked fruit. Some Fairfield's have a better breakfast. But some are far worse also.

A few miles from the ocean.the manager is a really helpful guy. I received a few packages sent to the hotel. I worked from the room for two weeks.

The breakfast was decent but had little fresh fruit.

Three or so miles to the ocean. It is on a quiet road. Not that scenic it quiet. The room was super quiet.

Breakfast was decent but changed minimally at to say. Not much fruit..

Real Marriott mattress. Bedding and towels were up to standards. Breakfast was decent. There could be more fruit.

Free parking. Real Marriott mattress. Decent breakfast. I wish they had consistent fruit. I stayed three weeks for business. Quiet larger room next to elevator. No noise! There must be extra insulation. A few miles from the beach.

Minimal.

A few miles from the beach. Quiet location. Staff was great. I stayed three weeks for work. Real Marriott mattress'.

Breakfast had minimal fruit. Basically processed but not horrible.

Room, space

Noise level, staff unavailable, masks no enforced

The room is very spacious and clean, staff are very attentive to everything, the breakfast has a lot to choose from and free parking

I like verity it about this hotel, no complaints
