Tamarack Beach Hotel

The location was perfect! I also enjoyed the only Hotel on the strip with free parking. Perfect for 1 night stay.

We loved the room¿s decor and cleanliness but most of all we enjoyed being able to see the waves from our balcony and hear the ocean all night

The continental breakfast could have included a few more options

We had a terrific stay at the Tamarack Beach Hotel. The location is perfect in a great area within feet of the beach and eateries and shopping. The pool area was fun and the hot tubs were nice and relaxing. Spacious and clean room with a nice patio.

Furniture in room not good.

Staff are professional and courteous. Place is always clean and staff wear masks and ensure COVID safety protocols are followed. Breakfast was an added bonus.

Beautiful location and everyone on the staff was extremely nice. Our room was spacious (2 queens) and the beds were comfortable.

Bring your ear plugs because the rooms were not soundproof in the least. The hot water was a bit tricky for showers in the morning.

Location is ideal! Its a great little hotel with super staff.

The heater did not work the first night so they upgraded our room and did not charge us any extra.

Our room was above the parking garage exit, and the garage gate was EXTREMELY loud every time it opened and closed. It was loud enough to wake us up several times a night.

The location and free parking were great. The rooms were nicely updated as well. Having a mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave were excellent additions.

The location of the room was right next to the elevator...not great. Also the pillows and mattresses are old.

Walking distance, 2 blocks, to the Village. Right across the street from the beach. Definitely get an oceanview room. Makes all the difference!

Although clean, the decor was tired. Needs a facelift for sure.

The location was awesome, the kids had a great time and the staff was very friendly! I would go back,and I have already recommended it to friends.

We loved the location, right across the street from the beach. Our room had a partial beach view. Room was roomy and even had a private patio.

Beautiful Hotel on the Beach with great prices. Love the location within walking distance to Carlsbad Village and many restaurants. Very Clean rooms and linens. Felt very relaxing. Conference room at Hotel was very pleasant and overlooked the Beach.

Hot tub in pool area not hot enough. Water Pressure in Hotel room shower was really low at times and water not warm enough.

The facilities and staff were great. The hotel was older than I had expected but in excellent condition. We also enjoyed the pool, hot tub, billiards and ping pong and the location was perfect.

The location across from the beach and walking distance from restaurants.

When sitting on the balcony off the room the traffic can be loud, but the awesome view makes up for it.

Clean, comfortable, relaxing. Great place to unwind and enjoy the ocean.

Location and outdoor patio

This is our favorite hotel for many reasons. The staff are always gracious and friendly, and the location being across the PCH from the beach is lovely.
