Location in Big Sur in the redwoods. Quiet and beautiful. Room was very clean. Walk out the door to nice hikes. Short drive to local restaurants and stunning beaches.
Internet and cell phone service work only intermittently, so don't plan to work here.

No proper restaurant or food facilities in or around the lodge, open or close time is not perfect, very high price for simple products
A cabin in the woods near the Julia Phieffer trails. Cozy fireplace.
The Big Sur Lodge was in the middle of a redwood forest, so it was lovely to walk among the trees. also loved the fireplace to warm up the room
The forest location , quiet peacefulness, comfortable accommodations.
Location was beautiful but the hotel was marginal.

It does not provide TV. One is to enjoy the outdoors while here but it would be great to have this at night time. Internet for the room is difficult due to the trees but it would be great to have.

Only 1 car per reservation/room will be allowed on the property. We will be doing renovation on certain rooms from 8am to 5pm starting on 03/29 - 05/09.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in.
