Bakersfield Marriott At The Convention Center

Location.

The a/c was so noisy (kept turning on/off during the night), we had to turn it off completely in order to sleep.

location was great

we were in town for a anniversary party at a local lodge and most of the guest were staying at your hotel, so we brought the after party back to the hotel and got kicked out of the bar and lobby

The location, the bed is very comfortable.

Yes, I told the staff that the bath shower didn't work. They said they would send someone to my room to check it out. Nobody ever came by. I asked at checkout for a discount or something. They said no. Said the supervisor would call. They never called

Nice modern feel, comfortable beds.

They seemed to lack towels - unable to produce enough towels for the 12 people swimming at the pool, and then there were zero in the workout room the following morning.

Location, friendly staff

You could hear the TV/conversations in next room, per thin walls and dividing door. I had to teach class on Zoom, and had to teach from bathroom where I could shut the door for quiet. Also, trains nearby blasted horns several times in middle of night.

I previously booked a room up the road and that hotel was awful. I was tiny too Dave money but ended up leasing during minutes. Thankfully I found Marriott. It was so nice and clean. The front desk was very approachable and accommodating.

Being it¿s near some sketchy places. I felt more safe staying at this hotel. No issues at all.

It was a big room. Very clean. So nice and the staff was awesome! Definitely way above my expectations.

The water did not get hot it was warm but never got hot.

There was a big roach on my husband in the bathroom Called the front desk which said they will be up to bring us a new key to another one We waited in hallway for thirty minutes then I called again and he had forgotten so he came up.

The fact that I had to keep calling them about the compensation of the roach in our room and the thirty minutes we had to stand in the hallway waiting for them because they forgot I feel they should¿ve been more attentive due the fact that it was roach

It was clean in the lobby, elevators and the hallway to room

The walls were way to thin and could hear everything going on in the other rooms on both sides and across the hall. Hotel is right next to the train tracks. Staff was more worried about there breaks than helping customers

Clean and friendly staff

They charge way too much for the simplicity of their rooms. It's nice and it's clean but it is not worth all the money they charge. The rooms are decorated like a two-star hotel. Debit cards are charged extra

Generally good ! Noisy room next to mine and numerous hotel no being considerate regarding music volume in their rooms especially in Sunday morning

Well, it's the best hotel in Bakersfield and I believe it will meet most traveler's expectations. The room was very clean and looked like everything had been recently updated.

A little bit noisy due to tiled floors in the hallways.

Front staff made sure that I had a comfortable room after arriving late.

The bar in the lobby was great!

The room was 80° at arrival, AC was not fixed until next day. Operation manager comped us breakfast to apologize but never delivered the voucher. I could not check out and pay because computer system was broken.

The lobby area is decent and welcoming. The checkout staff were pleasant.

The hotel is a 2 star at best. Dated, unclean and extremely noisy. We couldn't get any sleep and couldn't wait to check out. It's surprising that Marriott would allow its brand to be represented by this hotel.

Honestly...the ONLY thing that I liked about the hotel was that the wedding reception was located there. It was so convenient especially being that I was handicapped.

It did not look as luxurious as other Marriotts I've been too. It looked just as ordinary as other unknown hotels/motels. That's what surprised me. Staff was excellent!

Food was good but that's it. Will never stay at that hotel again.

Noisey, over rated n priced didn't get 2 queen beds as requested. Svc terrible. Keys to room had to constantly Re-program. I've stayed at less expensive places n got complimentary free breakfast n room with beds requested & better svc. & much quieter.

Clean lobby with a nice taco bar event before the concert next door.

Horrible! They put us in a 2nd story room overlooking the roof of the rear entrance. The view was of the junk cluttered roof, parking lot and trains. Room was across from the elevator and ice machine. Noisy all night. I've had better stays at Motel 6.
