Marina Village Inn

I had a balcony overlooking the water.

Yeah I overslept check out and they charged me the $50 fee and made me leave.

I like that it's right next to the marina, boats and birds. Peaceful.

Handicap items not well thought out. E.G., no door on bathroom (good for wheel chair access, but no privacy), there is no place to set your soap except on the shower floor, there is no place to set your toiletries when using sink, sink is falling off wall

Location

There was no where to put soap in shower and shower curtain smelled like mildew. Ice Machi e was out of ice.

The location was great for meeting our friends at the marina. Plenty of parking. The surrounding area was quiet

The staff was not friendly. Our room smelled like mildew and the AC wouldn't work properly. There were a few puddles of water when we got in that I'm guessing hadn't dried from being mopped. Really thin barriers between rooms.

Could use an aesthetic upgrade. Wifi didn¿t work.

Marina view

The floor left my feet filthy, the microwave was was another language, and I even found a rat sitting on the floor near my feet. I stay here often and always book a Supreme room w/ marina view, but the cleanliness and upkeep has gotten unacceptable.

Room like old cigarettes. The door lock didn't work so had to go to front desk every time. Waited 20 minutes to check in at 7pm. They didn't refresh the coffee or shampoo 2nd night. Ceiling was sagging and stained. Carpet fraying. No fire sprinklers.

Location was nice and secluded with a view.

They had to move me between 3 different rooms. The 1st hadn't even been cleaned before giving me the key, and no phone in the room to call and clarify so I had to walk back to desk. The 2nd room the tv didn't work. The 3rd room didn't have working remote.

The view is the ONLY thing good about this hotel! Breakfast was ok. We stayed here two years ago and it wasn't the Hilton but it was good for the price, this trip the room was disgusting- we'll never come back!

The room was filthy! Carpet was gross, bathroom floors were nasty. Trash cans were broken. Our room cards didn't work, neither did the tv. The view was beautiful but don't stay here and if u do, bring slippers and your own pillow and blanket.

It was a disappointment!! Bathroom shower was full of mold, towels were not that good. The bed skirt was falling apart. The wall by the air conditioner was peeling really in bad shape. The staff didn't care when I mentioned. One star.

It was inexpensive.

Hasn't been remodeled since 1979. The WiFi didn't work. The breakfast buffet was a joke. The staff wasn't very helpful.

I liked the location. This place could be very nice nut it needs some serious work.

I didn't feel really secure s the window didn't really lock and even though it was on the second floor it was quite easy to get to the window.

Location.

Room showed very hard use: toilet seat broken, toilet cracked. Leg broken on single "easy chair"; lamp at bedside non-functioning.

Rates were relatively affordable (it's slim pickins in Alameda). Bed was comfortable, room seemed pretty clean.

I wish they had notified us in advance that the pool was drained. The TV was a really old 90's model and had a very green tint. Desk chair was missing a wheel. Overall, it's just a place to sleep in, nothing else.

the location & views were well worth it

overall, a clean room, but the carpet & cabinet doors needed scrubbing.
