    Pros +

    • The staff, in particular the manager that checked us in was great. The bartender was also a nice guy, and had some good local reccomendations.
    • Nice large room; good free breakfast
    • Very convenient to the convention center and other show sites.

    Cons -

    • The room where breakfast was served was pretty bad. Felt like it was a converted utility room. Breakfast food as sub par, both in quality and variety compared to other budget-friendly hotels. Rooms were serviceable, but pretty dated.
    • Location was just outside the range of being able to walk to downtown Congress Street--didn't feel safe in the evening to attempt walking from hotel.
    • Unfortunately, this is the second time I've stayed at this Ramada and my room hasn't been clean upon arrival. The carpet was dirty and there was hair in the tub. I requested for it to be cleaned but it never was.

There was nothing at this hotel I liked

There bugs in room stains on sheets and they where complete rude about everything

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 3-18-2022

refrigerator was cold :) breakfast was filling and wonderful, pool and hot tub were exactly what we wanted. Staff that we ran across were all very friendly

All the garbage containers around the hotel were overflowing the entire time we were there(4 nts) First entering our room, there was a sticky residue on the table where the phone is. Was cleaned up by the front desk clerk but we had ants the entire trip.

Staff was helpful and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. Location is convenient to many attractions in Tucson.

My room was very noisy -- noise from slamming security gate, garbage trucks, footsteps in the room above. And the cleaning products used smell sickeningly sweet -- my clothes still smelled of it when I got home.

Very old and in need of updates. Sliding door with no screen door. Roach behind curtain and dead bugs on floor.

    1Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-16-2021

Too many homeless and what seemed to be a drug dealer racing in on his motor cycle with a bag pack and then waited by the gate to be let in.

Was worried about our car and sxs.

    Located

The hotel was not very clean pool area was dirty and so was the room

The location was perfect. The streetcar to downtown was right outside the hotel and runs every 15 minutes. It was fun to go hang out there and not have to worry about driving. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again!

Room was very nice. Staff was friendly.

Breakfast was bag and had very little in it. You had to wait while they made a coffee for you following your instructions, which was also a pain.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 3-24-2021

access was easy. close to the freeway, but quiet. rooms were clean and safety protocols were followed. beds were comfortable. AC worked well.

a nick on the door to illustrate some lack of maintenance.

    3Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 12-31-2020

The location is perfect for so many things we are interested in.

As I reported to the desk manager, there were long, black hairs on bathroom floor, no kleenex anywhere, tried to take bath, couldn't get tub to hold water, no hot water in a.m.for shower we couldn't get to work, coffee pot not plugged in, then leaked!

    9DouglasPosted on: 6-3-2019

The staff was absolutely excellent on every level. Helpful, kind, and extremely outreaching. they contributed 100% to our high marks concerning the stay. They are the reason we plan to return to the hotel next visit back to Tucson.

Not certain the location was completely safe

We had a very nice stay at this Ramada. The best bartender,  made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and inviting. Loved the big sliding glass doors with the shared patio space.

Dirty, killed spiders in our room, blood on the ceiling

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 7-12-2018

Location, and view from my hotel room.

No food service during the weekend.

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 4-17-2018

The size of the room is huge! Being on the trolley line is a great asset. Breakfast was a treat. Hotel is very clean inside and out. Will stay again.

No outlet inside restroom although generous counter.

    8JayPosted on: 2-13-2018

Location was close to freeway so easy to get on and off. The trolley stop is right in front of hotel so easy to get into downtown and college without needing a car, taxi or UBER.

We happen to be there during the Gem Show and everything was kind of a mess so its hard to say too much about anything. However, the hotel staff wasn't very friendly except for the housekeepers--

    1Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 12-5-2017

Rooms and sheets were dirty. Toilets were not cleaned There were cockroaches around the room. We checked out and left immediately.
