Embassy Suites by Hilton Tucson East

Staff was very friendly, welcoming. The front desk person was especially nice, I forgot his name! Drinks were great and breakfast was yummy! The grounds were pretty.

There was an odd smell in our room, aired it out and it dissipated, but kind of a cross between septic/musty. We enjoyed the rest of the room and stay very much.

The air conditioning system was noisy. Made noise prior to turning on. Kept waking me up.

Moldy food in fridge. Moved rooms but got downgraded from my original room. I'm not sure if there was a big price difference

(1) Plenty of table top space and electrical outlets for 2 laptops, etc., (2) All staff most kind and helpful. (3) Beautiful outdoor spaces create restful places. (4) Evening happy hour. (5) Safe enclosure from public access.

seemed recently remodled

when we moved the drain device in the sink in the bathroom the entire sink full of water poured out all over my husbands feet. Staff seemed unconcerned. The front door gapped open to outside at bottom. Menu looks like restaurant but is just bar food!

Brekfast and room

I had truble at check in, it took about 1 hr.

The pool and the breakfast were excellent. The 1 bdrm suite was the perfect size for us traveling with 3 teens

Friendly staff; great suites and breakfast

I stay there whenever I am in Tucson, but this time I was booked into a studio room. That was quickly rectified to a suite. Also, there was a huge gap under the door and I could see the shadows and hear the sounds of people walking past.

It?s location is central to most things.

Furniture was old and obviously needed at least a deep clean. House keeping was minimal. Had to ask for new ice bucket bag after 3 days of it not being replaced. Garbage bags were just draped over side of can. Dirt stayed the whole time.

The staff are very nice

Our room sink was clogged. Also, it smelled like urine.

Room was spacious. Bed was good. Was not a pleasure trip so not much time spent to enjoy our stay. Pool looked very inviting and the outdoor fireplaces lovely touch.

Carpet could use a good cleaning. Socks pretty dirty after walking around a little. Also, stained towel used for cleaning up coffee spill (?) Refolded and put back on shelf as clean. The ac/heating unit was really noisy and rattled a lot.

The staff was amazing. Everyone we encountered from the young woman who checked us in, to housekeeping to the staff at elements were friendly and professional.

The fire alarm going off at 3:30 a.m. on Saturday. Couldn't go back to sleep, so we left. Would have liked to have had that wonderful breakfast again....

The staff was friendly and helpful. I was told they were short staffed and their ice machines were not working, but they made an effort to get us ice and answer all our questions.

Location, greenery

The elevator did not have air conditioning so it was extremely uncomfortable. Our shower started overflowing on our second day.

A beautiful atrium and pool, and comfortable suite.

The hotel felt more like a resort. The bathroom setup was HUGE! Free 4-6:30 Happy hour and free breakfasts at Embassy Suites are always a great plus!

The location suited my needs.

The Embassy Suites on Speedway is awful. Filthy old carpet, loud rattling air system and its filter visible in the ceiling had not been changed in maybe years. Maintenance guy said he'd replace it but never showed, said raccoons roam all floors at night.

The second TV wasn't viewable from the living area could only see tv at dinning table

Cleanliness in the room, pool and surrounding areas. The staff are working hard and doing an excellent job at it!

Great breakfast with the omlets and fresh fruit.

The cooling system was very loud.
