Windmill Suites Surprise - Phoenix, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The King Bed Suite was spacious and very comfortable. Staff was friendly and very professional.I liked the decor and very comfortable beds.

Surprise, AZ during the winter is expensive, and so was the hotel. The noise from Bell Road was distracting, but I could sleep. The TV options were limited for both adults and kids.

Excellent breakfast. , love the room as quiet as, kitchen and clean and plenty of laundry service..also liked separate sinks in bathroom.

To be honest elevators felt unsafe as grunted on way up or down, Hallway carpet looked like needs replacing.

The breakfast choices were just like any continental breakfast. The hotel lobby was clean and always had coffee or hot water for tea/hot cocoa. The pool and courtyard was like an oasis! This is what made my decision on where to stay for 4 nights. Competitive in price, but the privacy or resort feel of the pool made my decision.

It was just a bit awkward for the staff to serve us breakfast. They asked how many sausage links, or how many hasbrowns...food was ok, just haven't experienced this method of serving at a hotel. (But id take that, just knowing the outside facilities are lovely.)

breakfast was good. room was clean

the desk chair in the room was broken. The water pressure was weak. the fridge was not real cold and unstable. facilities look like in need of repair or remodeling..at least on our floor.
