Western Lodge Phoenix Airport/Downtown

This hotel was clean, safe and close to the airport. Reviews were poor and unfair-this is not the newest hotel but for the price and convenience it met our needs. Staff were extremely nice and accommodating too.

Staff

Needed a total remodel. New carpet, new towels, new tub, new bed, etc. Had to close bathroom door to turn on the bathroom light. Not in a safe neighborhood. No food within walking distance.

The front staff lady was very nice and friendly.

The room made me feel like I had to sleep with the lights on and keep all my belongings on the bed with me. The bed/pillows reeked like cigarettes. I couldn't put my head on the pillows for the smell.

The room was horrible and dirty hair on the sheets stains everywhere it was extremely horrible I will never book here again definitely nothing Lom In the picture

The staff was well prepared and very friendly.

The hotel is not as photographed, there were no fitted sheets on the bed, the shower did not have hot water, and the room was not well furnished. It was mentioned that there are some upcoming rennovations, but these are issues that should alrea be solved.

To be honest everything sucked. Excuse my language but it did. There were gaps in the doors and walls which allowed cock roaches in the room. On the bed, on the curtains, in the tub. It was horrible me There was. O trashcan, not even trash bags provided.

There was no internet or phone in the room and outdated furniture. On top of that, we was charged for a $50 deposit for any visitors or late check out. There wasn't anything va a uable to insure in that entire motel. The owner however was the best

Hotel was so disgusting we immediately left and went up the street to the Days Inn, unable to get a refund. Dirty, sketchy room reeked of smoke and had burn holes in the comforter. Questionable individuals mulling around the parking lot. Stay away!

It was the dirtiest hotel I have ever seen. Ciggerate burns in the blanket . 2 small nasty pillows. One towel set on top toliet. Holes in walls ever where. Ciggerate burns covering sink. Floor had not seen a vacuum quite some time. Bed was so dirty :(

One pillow no remote one toilet paper no lights except for one tiles dirty towels dirty stains on walls overpriced and room smelled of cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking. I will never go back I'd rather sleep in my car.

Nothing, was thinking it was the most disgusting place I've ever stayed in my life, but then remembered 1 place in Africa I'd stayed years ago for 1 night that was worse!

Rude staff, dirty room with saggy mattress, wires sticking out from behind TV, curtains didn't cover window. Bathroom was even filthier, hairs on back of toilet, disgusting bathtub, kick plate under sink was broken and sticking out. Etc. Etc.

Had cable wires all on the wall for the tv that we couldn’t use because there was no remote. No blankets. Dirty floors. Charged a deposited that wasn’t added on the website when we booked it. Staff was very unprofessional.

The price was inexpensive

The internet was down so it took forever to check in. There was only one TV channel available and the bed was broken and sloped downward to the left. It was also noisier than I expected.

Nothing. It was a Dump!

A total Dump. Photo on line, was not this motel. Dirty, disgusting, cigarette burns on spread and sheets, no hot water, TV did not work. Still have not gotten my security deposit back, even though it was done in front of me. Not a 2 star. No stars. Dump!

short distance from airport, for just the basic needed for a 1 or 2 start level location. large parking and open space area.

Hot water was off 42 degrees weather and reported to manager but nothing happened. No hot water on second night and reported to manager again. On third night a different manager who turned hot water on. Additional charges were made to credit card.

The location was quiet

Proximity, a toilet that didn't work, cockroaches, unfriendly staff, got propositioned and offered drugs in hotel parking lot, noise all night, room was dirty and there were no batteries in the smoke alarm.

Cheap and that was all

THe people was super rude and I have been waiting for my deposit for a week now. They say void the deposit but it has been a pending charge for a week now. The lady at night when we checked in was more worried about her computer than helping us

The area was terrible. Homeless walked and slept on the streets, which was all strip clubs, drive through liquors stores, and gas stations behind cages. The room looked nothing like the photograph. The toilet was clogged and there were cigarette bur

Tv was half gone. There was cockroaches in the shower and in the bed. The manager didn't care about any of it and was very rude.
