Hampton Inn Phoenix/Anthem

I discovered a machine in the gym that I now can't live without.

The rooms are very dated and the carpet has seen better days and the bathroom, the tub esp was very old. But at least the tub drained very fast while showering and the water pressure was decent.

Day two- no meat at breakfast. Only biscuits and gravy.

Night check-in lady. Rest of staff were great.

Hotel employee at the front desk was very pleasant and nice to talk to.

The hotel is way overdue for a remodel. The rooms are old and outdated and the entire inside hotel needs new carpet and fresh paint, wallpaper, etc.

We had stayed at this hotel about 6 months ago and the same woman checked us in . Extremely rude and we still haven?t been reimbursed the $20

Nice staff, nice breakfast, great location.

Pool was dirty, had to skim it every time we used it ourselves. Had to switch room, first room had animal hair all over the couch (husband is allergic) and our second room had the bathroom supplies empty.

We stayed at this hotel two nights but not in a row. We ended up in the same room the second time, 2 days apart. The shampoo was empty both night, towels were not complete. Not friendly at check in, which isn¿t what we expect at the Hampton

Consistent quality- cleanliness, breakfast, ease of check in.

Breakfast clerk insulted me. I didn¿t have time for breakfast the 2nd morning of our stay. When leaving, I grabbed a few cereal bars. She made comments to make me feel guilty for taking those cereal bars. At $--- plus/night ¿ really!?!

The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.

Location was the best, all but one staff member were amazing, helpful and polite. Breakfast each morning was wonderful!

One staff member was on the short, rude side but we didn¿t let that one person ruin our stay or take away from all the staff great, friendly staff that was there.

My son got married @ Anthem GolfCourse 10 min away. Queen suite was large enough for my daughter & I to invite family & friends over, w/a couch & comfy cushioned stools that doubled as chairs. We all congregated at bkfst, generously timed from 6-10 a.m.

There was a pretty rancid smell on the first floor. I am going to assume a pipe or something ruptured but it should be addressed to your patrons.

Convenient location right off the highway, close to Anthem neighborhoods and good restaurants.

Elevator was extremely slow. No housekeeping service in 4 night stay. Room was not clean when I first entered - there were a couple of peanuts by the desk in room¿ also noticed 4 small German cockroaches during stay, 2 already dead, 2 I had to kill.

Room was large and clean. Breakfast was amazing. I called after we left and said we forgot to check out and they said no problem they checked us out automatically and the person I spoke to was super nice.

Was disappointed that the pool was closed. That was a big reason I booked this hotel. Not being informed of that prior was upsetting. The staff never really engaged with us which was weird. But whoever I spoke to in the phone was super nice!

Lovation

The mini fridge was so loud , the vibration rattled the tv cabinet it was located in. we had to unplug¿ we told them twice before we unplug thinking they could replace. But we just unplugged instead.

Staff was nice, breakfast was better than most hotels, room was spacious

Showers are EXTREMELY slippery and unsafe. Was an extremely long check in process due to their computers being down, card readers being down, etc. upper level has a very foul smell when you got off the elevator

Our room was very nice and clean. The staff and warm breakfast was a bonus.

Pool and Hot Tub a bit small

No maid service during four night stay. We got our own towels every night. Soiled towels and trash were never picked up. Breakfast during the week was just ok.

Location was decent and it was quiet

Price was too high for what we got poor room selection overpriced lack of pillows linens and towels pullout couch NOT comfortable too thin
