Top Tips
- Reach Siloam Springs fastest by driving 30-40 minutes (28-32 miles) from Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA). Renting a car there can cut 60-120 minutes off your one-way trip compared to Little Rock or Tulsa airports. At XNA, major rental car brands are onsite for direct pick-up without shuttle delays.
- Book your hotel 6-12 weeks in advance for weekend stays, especially during John Brown University events or downtown festivals, to avoid 20-40% late booking rate increases due to limited local rooms. Check local event calendars before finalizing dates.
- Expand your options by considering hotels in Bentonville or Fayetteville, which offer more late-night dining and business centers. Both cities are 25-45 minutes (20-35 miles) away by car. Search hotel filters for amenities like breakfast or EV charging to match your stay priorities.
- Select downtown lodging in Siloam Springs to stay within 0.1-0.6 miles (5-12 minute walk) of Sager Creek Trail and local restaurants. Confirm your property's exact address on a downtown map and check for onsite accessible parking if required.
- Plan to rent a car for airport transfers, grocery shopping, or visits to Bentonville and Fayetteville, as public transit between cities is limited. Confirm your hotel’s parking policy and nearby fuel stations in advance.
- For safety during spring storm season (March-May), request an interior-corridor or ground-floor room for quicker shelter access. Ask about the property's storm safety policy at check-in, as many chain hotels post severe weather instructions in guest rooms.
- When booking historic downtown properties, request an accessible or ground-level room if step-free access is needed, since many older buildings have stairs and narrow hallways. Verify the presence of ramps or accessible bathroom features directly with the hotel.
