Crown Lake Resort

Beautiful and fantastic place to stay. Lots of things to do. The staff is awesome. I had lost my ride to the airport and they were very helpful and getting me there and on time. Very happy with them.

I loved the quietness and the cleanliness. I also appreciated that they had a nearby restaurant with good food.

I wish they had salt and black pepper in the kitchen and maybe coffee or tea. It will be nice if they also provide breakfast.

It's winter and it's pretty well quiet and shut down, but the staff still went out of their way to help us enjoy our time.

Papa Dick's was closed for renovations, and even with it being off season, the price was still about what I'd expect to pay around normal time.

The location and staff are great, and it is a very peaceful and comfortable resort.

Some of the furnishings were old and seemed to be falling apart, but these were only minor inconveniences

No breakfast, ate in town.The views are nice, and the rooms are spacious.

The internet connection is awful. The cable TV went in and out , and lost some channels frequently. They need to upgrade their system.

Everything the people were very pleasant and helpful. The cabin was gorgeous and neat as a pin. I had a wonderful time and will definitely be going back. They have so much to offer. They have an 18 hole mini golf course , a restaurant and a very nice campground. Definitely go and relax and enjoy.!!!

The staff was very helpful, nice and informative of every activity offered. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable.

We had neighbors in the duplex that came in at late at night laughing with no respect to their surroundings. They got up really early running a blender and yelling and laughing on the front porch. This is no fault of the facility but the walls are very thin and there may need to be a policy about noise.

Our stay here was great. I love that the staff has smores by the campfire and a bingo night. The cabins are beautiful. We will definitely be back and I would recommend this resort.

Lovely view, fun things to do, great pizza onsite. Comfortable bed. Spacious apartment. Well appointed kitchen in our unit. Very clean.

The hot water heater for our unit wasn’t big enough for the needs of a family of 3. I couldn’t use the bathtub because there wasn’t enough hot water to fill the tub. The fixtures and furnishings were dated- although clean considering. The main bedroom needs more substantial curtains. The blinds failed to block the neighbors floodlight when they turned it on at 12am. Wi-fi was spotty. The hot tub was down for maintenance during our stay as well:(

The whole trip was very relaxing and not too far from home. The rooms were neat and clean and housed all of our family adequately. Our boys got to fish and our girls and kiddos got to play and relax!

The location and the cabins we stayed in were very clean and comfortable. All the staff we encountered were polite and professional. The lake views were very relaxing and peaceful.

We ate at the only restaurant at the resort,Pappas Dicks pizza. They made one of our pizzas wrong as we had ordered a simple two toping for the kids. They did not correct it but simply brought us a spoon to "scoop" off the topings we didn't order. We have children, and this pizza was ordered for them. My daughter tasted it and wouldn't eat it. I had to order her a grilled cheese sandwich. She was upset as she had to watch everyone else eat while they made her food. My older daughter didn't want to be rude and ate one slice where she could usually eat a whole small pizza by herself. I tasted the pizza that was incorrectly made, and it tasted horrible. We ended up only eating one slice. Our bill was over $75.00 for 3 soda, 2 small pizzas, a water, and a grilled cheese sandwich. My husband and I had one shot from the bar. When I paid the bills, I asked for the incorrect pizza to be removed from our ticket, and the manager informed me that she had already given us a discount. After inspecting the bill, this discount was a whole $2 off our bill. I told the manager that was unacceptable. She apologized yet did not take the pizza off, saying she couldn't do so. We will never eat at the resort again. $100 for a meal that was made incorrect, and that wasn't even fixed is ridiculous.

The apartment was so much nicer than we expected it to be. It was very clean. The concierge were very kind and accommodating from the moment we arrived until the moment we checked out. They helped me to find some fun things for my family to do. There is an on site restaurant called Papa Dicks. The night we went there was live music and the food was fantastic. If we visit again, I think it will be when it's warmer!

I did not like that the apartments had only a door knob lock and no dead bolt.Horseshoe Bend does not have good cell service signal we stayed in SOS mode the whole time except when we were at our apartment. There is no gas station in the area so you have to go about 8 miles out to fill up. Not a lot of things or families to do outside of the resort. Very secluded area, but if you want to do some shopping and exploring you will be driving about 30 minutes at least to get there.

I’ve become accustomed to having coffee in room with hotels and bnb’s.I did bring some instant because I just do, but a heads up that there is no coffee in the apt would be good!

The staff was friendly and there was this guy that worked there can’t remember his name so we called him Wisconsin. He worked on the water sprinklers and watered the grass. He was very friendly and a hard worker! We enjoyed talking to him when he was bye our cabin!

We didn’t dislike anything!!
