The Loft was very clean and welcoming. I had the hotel to myself for the night, which was nice. A comfortable and relaxing little hole-in-the-wall place to stay. Amazing customer service and friendly staff
The location was good, the room itself was pretty nice the building was quant and nicely remodeled. But the bathroom is community down the hall. No staff on premises. Free breakfast is prepackaged pastries and coffee pods available 24 hours a day.
The room and bed were nice. But no in room restroom or bathing lowers this well below 5 stars. We saw no staff at all. It was self check-in

I liked that it had an elevator... At first when they said I was on the 2nd floor, I was concerned as I am not young..but the elevator made it an easy move.

Top Tips
- Book your hotel 4-6 weeks in advance for summer stays (June–August) to help manage rates, which typically see a 20-30% increase due to local river activities and limited availability among Camden's few hotels. Early booking improves your chance of securing an accessible room, as ADA-compliant options are limited locally.
- Factor in an additional 10-15% for Arkansas's combined hotel occupancy taxes and fees, and use tax-inclusive search filters on booking sites to accurately compare total nightly costs. This helps prevent surprises at checkout and supports accurate budgeting.
- Select hotels within 1-2 miles of downtown Camden, such as those near the Convention Center, where local police data indicates petty crime rates are 20-30% lower than in outlying areas. For extra security, consider properties with staffed reception hours or secure key card entry.
- Confirm Wi-Fi speeds directly with your hotel upon check-in if you plan to work remotely, as service in Camden typically ranges from 10-50 Mbps and may be unreliable during storms due to rural infrastructure. Ask about backup options like lobby hotspots for severe weather.
- Request a room with air conditioning to handle summer temperatures, which can reach 90-100°F (32-38°C) from June to August. Verify accessibility needs before booking, as only 40-50% of properties report step-free access or fully accessible rooms.
- Use bank-affiliated ATMs in Camden's downtown areas to avoid higher-than-average withdrawal fees, which typically range from $2-$3 USD per transaction. Many hotels may offer cash-back with small purchases at the front desk—ask about your options when you check in.
