The Loft on the Square is located in Magnolia, 2.2 miles from Southern Arkansas University. - The Loft was very clean and welcoming. I had the hotel to myself for the night, which was nice. A comfortable and relaxing little hole-in-the-wall place to stay. Amazing customer service and friendly staff
- The location was good, the room itself was pretty nice the building was quant and nicely remodeled. But the bathroom is community down the hall. No staff on premises. Free breakfast is prepackaged pastries and coffee pods available 24 hours a day.
- The room and bed were nice. But no in room restroom or bathing lowers this well below 5 stars. We saw no staff at all. It was self check-in
Cons -
- It was difficult to get the room door to lock, it took a couple of minutes for me to figure it out. Since there are no staff on site, I could the hotel number provided about three times during my stay and they only answered 1/3 of my calls.
- Somehow my husband I missed that the room did not have its own bathroom. It was a community bathroom down the hall. I was not happy. The sheets felt gritty and had some dirt. It said breakfast but that was prepackaged pastries and coffee pods.
