Hampton Inn Wetumpka

Location

I called for a late check in and when my family & I got there, they had given our room away. We had to put a fold out bed and a pack n play in a king bed room so all my children would have a place to sleep. We couldn't walk thru the room st all.

Toilet was dirty I had to clean it myself.

Friendly staff, close to the casino .Great breakfast with a great cook willing to help.

Handicap rooms not close to the ElevatorElevator?

Air conditioner thermostat didn't work. Had to turn it off because I was so cold. Had tape on the unit, so known issue. Two lamps on the right side of the room didn't work. The room was clean.

We were there for a fishing trip so the large parking spaces with power and all the lighting at night was very appreciated. We didn't worry about anyone messing with the boat at night because of the lighting and cameras. Very nice beds also.

The elevator may need some service. Sometimes it would run fast other times i was a little worried if it was going to open or not. Lol.

Conveniently near WindCreek

Near the street was loud, near the lake on the backside was loud also, the maids opened my door twice

Clerk said they are out of regular coffee at 5am, we got up at 4:30 am and had to wait until 6am to get coffee

bathtub could use some recaulking- mold in corners. Toilet seat worn out.

Customer service was excellent!!!Breakfast was so good and more than what I expected not your typical hotel continental breakfast. They serve real breakfast!

The service

The paper towels were out on the first floor bathroom. Attendants were notified but nothing done. Elevators suck and need new ones.

I like that the hotel was convenient to the location I needed.

I have stayed at this hotel several times after it was first operational. I was disappointed by the overall cleanness of the bathroom because the shower head has build up on that looks like mildew, the floor was not swept properly, baseboards.

Lovation

Lack of maintenance. Towel racks falling off wall. Handicap shower seat is law suit waiting to happen. Poor Wi-Fi service. Had do not disturb sign on door and housekeeping went in anyway

The breakfast was more than adequate. Attendant was excellant. Kept things clean and filled. Very pleasant also.

Attendant was preoccupied when checked in. wanted to leave early. Just checked in and hardly spoke at all. Was talking to another person.

The location

Checked in went to my room walks in observing everything notice blood on cover.

It¿s location by 5he convention center was paramount. The Hampton Inn reputation was a comfort going into an otherwise unknown town. Your reputation for comfortable beds is also important, as is a breakfast that offers some healthy options.

No maid service at all during our stay, even when we asked for it, and we had to get fresh towels ourselves. The tub grout was moldy. And the coffee service would offer dark roast one day, but not the next, wouldn¿t have anything but flavored creamers.

Th staff was extremely friendly!!

The people in the next room could be heard but I just turned on some sounds to muffle them. Walls must be really thin. Maybe no insulation for noise.

The location was very convenient and close to my families house as well as local restaurants. The staff was absolutely wonderful and so helpful our entire stay. It was clean and the room was beautiful! We will definitely stay here again.
